Heartburn and Gas Relief, Liquid Antacid, Tonight Formula, Honey Chamomile Flavor, 12 Fl Oz

I have used Mylanta for many years to treat heartburn. Shortly after a pregnancy a number of years ago I had developed severe irritation of the lining of the esophagus due to carrying a large baby and a hiatal hernia. The chest pain was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack! I was referred to a cardiologist, had a stress test, and everything. When they decided it was from gerd (gastric reflux disease) the treatment was an antacid like Mylanta every four hours for two weeks. I learned that when I had heartburn to treat it before it got worse. Chewable tabs just didn't do the trick. The Mylanta coats the irritated surface and allows it to heal. Now at the first sign of irritation I take this and it is fine almost immediately. I like Mylanta because it has no bad side effects like causing diarrhea. It doesn't taste too bad if you swallow it quickly 😁 and works fast.

This actually works great after dinner is perfect. No more heat burn or any discomfort after taking it before bed and my last meal. I honestly recommend it to those who suffer from heartburn. Likely, would buy again and affordable price for myself.

What could be better for heartburn???

This particular flavor of Mylanta is terrific in taste, and extremely effective. The only reason I knocked off one star is that the bottles are exasperatingly difficult to open.

I've used this for years for heartburn at night. It kind of tastes thick and so-so but it works.

Works quickly as promised. Has a great mild taste.
