Bought two. Both work well. Easy to install. Good price.
Excellent craftsmanship. Good materials. Easy to install. I bought two of these.I compared it to the traditional product, sold at places like Ace Hardware. I think this one is better.

Great quality and value with easy installation
My existing lever operated drain was leaking. It was a Moen unit but made out of plastic... Cheap! This new pop up drain arrived next day. I was very happy seeing it was made of metals. I was also happy to see that this new drain didn't require any plumbers putty to install.quick removal of old drain and a little cleanup. New drain installed easily. No cutting of the pipe needed.Works as intended. I hope it lasts as good as it looks

Good quality materials and workmanship but the stopper leaks
I bought one of these drain kits and then lost it in the garage (I'm sure it's out there somewhere, but I can't find it) so I ordered another one, based on my inspection of the first one when it was first received. This unit is well made and finished, constructed using quality materials. It feels solid and substantial (not thin and flimsy). Once I had the second one, I installed it right away so I wouldn't lose it again. It was easy to install, and the drain gaskets (above and below) seal well with no leaks.I like the way the stopper works. The mechanism feels solid and operates with a nice feel and a slight click to let you know it engaged or released. I like the strainer basket that will catch anything dropped into the sink (jewelry, etc.). My one quibble is that the stopper gasket (the one around the stopper that engages the inside surface of the drain) should be slightly larger - it leaks so the water drains out of the sink over about a 15 minute period. There's no way to soak something in the sink overnight (or even for an hour). I've tried to find a replacement for this gasket but there is no easy way to contact the manufacturer for service (just a self-help trouble shooting guide that doesn't cover this situation). My general impression is high quality but no service. You just have to choose what's important to you.

Quality drain at impossible price
This is a great drain! It is all metal and functional - it seals when closed and installs easily (perfect tolerances). The oil rubbed finish matches my other fixtures. The debris catch couldn't be easier to remove/service.

High quality product
This is the third time I've purchased one of these great sink drain replacement units—two of the overflow type and one non-overflow type. Make sure you know what type of sink you have before ordering. This time, the bathroom sink drain plug stopper was not working because the little support pin that sits down in the drain had completely corroded off! This unit was easy to install (be sure to use plumber's putty on the top between it and the sink).I learned how heavy-duty this unit is when I had to shorten it about two inches to connect to the drain pipe in the space below the sink: my sawzall had to do some work to cut through it. This is no thin-piped drain!I like how easy it works up and down to stop the sink; it also easily pulls out of the drain in order to check for hair that might have made it down there.Highly recommend.

Bathroom sink drain
It was very easy to install. No leaks. I love it. So easy to clean out the hair from drain.

Poor tolerances. Mediocre drainage.
This thing looks good. It’s easy to install. Doesn’t leak. However, I had to remove the rubber gasket from the stopper. As I was testing the stopper, pushing it in and out before installation it got stuck down I was only able to get it back up because I hadn’t installed it yet. I poked a screwdriver through the holes. Holes which are no longer accessible once it’s installed. Sensing a potential problem I removed the rubber part which it got stuck on. This isn’t a problem for me because I never plan on closing the drain to fill up the sink. But what is a minor annoyance is the fact that Water doesn’t flow as freely down this drain as it did down the previous drain. This product was ridiculously affordable and looks nice but I’ll probably replace it for something that drains a little better in the not too distant future. I like this style of drain because it’s really easy to remove the stopper and basket to get hair out of it. I won’t be going back to the drains where you push and pull the handle; too easy to get massive disgusting hair monsters in there after a year or so.
