Solar Fountain, Floating Solar Powered Water Fountain Pump for Bird Bath, Garden, Pond, Pool, Outdoor (1.4W)

I put this in my pond and it started working right away. The genius part of this is that it has the spacers on the 4 sides to keep it from getting too close to the edge of the pond and possibly letting some water escape. There are lots of different units to fit on top of the unit to change the way the water flows so I have lots of options. The unit is made well and floats nicely on the water. I chose the low flow to use because the birds like to stop by to drink out of the pond and I didn't want to scare them away. This unit did not have to spend any time in the sun to charge , it started as soon as I walked outside to place it in the pond. The spacers were easy to apply and work great. This can be placed in a birdbath or a water feature also.

This is a fun product! It’s easy to put together, works well, and looks really nice. The only bummer is that I needed this for a bird bath that holds about 2-3 gallons of water, and since the fountain is solar powered, it has to be in direct sunlight for it to work, which means the water is constantly evaporating very quickly. I set mine up this morning for the first time and every time I checked on it, the water was almost completely gone. Throughout the day, I had to refill the birdbath about every two hours for it to keep working. Not very sustainable considering I am not looking for something that requires so much maintenance. It’s a great concept though., I just wish there was a way to keep it going without constantly refilling the water.

Well for an inexpensive little device it wotks pretty good I have no idea how long it will last I have only had it a week! A) needs to be in bright sun to work well a cloud goes over it stops b) I have it in a bird bath it really accelerates the evaporation of water on a sunny day about twice as fast as the birdbath would normally evaporate! That’s the critique but it really does look nice having that small bubbler in the garden

Works great when the sun is out. Will not work on days when it’s cloudy, rainy, etc. Comes with several attachments for different types of water sprays. The tallest fountain spray is about 10-12 inches high. I like that this fountain comes with clear, plastic rods to keep the fountain in the middle of the bird bath. So far I love it & the birds that visit my bird bath do too!Update: I’ve had the fountain for 2 weeks now & it has stopped working! I have cleaned it, taken it apart per instructions, etc. and still nothing.

It’s cute. Works fine in the sun — as it states will not work in shade. My problem is that even though my birdbath is deeper than most, the water completely evaporates in 1/2 a day. Even if I refill in the morning, by 4pm there is no water to run it. Looking for something deeper that I can use it in. Would be fine in a pool.

Great solar power fountain! Works well and it’s strong. It only works in direct sunlight. Water flow is very good and love that there are 6 different nozzles. Can change to the flow I like. Good one for good price.

Once that sun hits it, that thing PUMPS. It’s super strong when the sun is bright, so if you’re at an apartment like me, you might just opt not to use one of the spray nozzles and it’ll just do a steady flow. With the spray nozzles, it’ll splash a lot (which is great, if you’re not a second story balcony apartment!). I was able to trim the plastic legs to fit in my bird bath, and it works great. The solar panel is pretty big, so that’s why it’s able to soak up a lot of sun and be strong for water flow. Caught a hummingbird playing in the spray, actually! No batteries required! Overall, great purchase honestly.
