Amazing deal for the product, even if clip isn't the most secure.
LED flashlight, decent magnet on the back, USB-C rechargeable, replaceable 18650 battery, and waterproof. You can't go wrong with this for ~$18. And even if you don't need the black light on it, it's a lot of fun to use. The only complaint I would have is that the clip isn't the most secure thing in the world. If you are dependent on it being very secure on something that will be thrashed a fair bit, you might want to invest in a pouch or holder of some sort. WARNING: If you haven't used a black light in your home before, and are easily grossed out, don't make the same mistake I did use it in the bathroom. ESPECIALLY on and around your toilet. You will find out that you are not as good at cleaning as you thought you were, and that the black light works VERY well. TL;DR: Amazing deal for the product, even if clip isn't the most secure.

Sturdy
I got this to detect ringworm on my cats. It did the job. It has a lot of options. What I don’t like is clicking through the 7 options to get to off. Mostly because the last option before off is a bright blinking white light which can be blinding. Still, with all the options I think it’s good to keep around for possible emergencies. It’s not the first one I pick for average use. It’s sturdy. The batteries don’t bang around inside if you shake it. Metal casing. The main light is bright and goes a fair distance. While it’s not my first choice for average use (because I don’t want to click through so many things), I’m glad I have it around.

Charging cord specific.
This is a nice flashlight, I really liked it at first. The only problem is that while says any usb-c charging cord can be used, it isn't true. It seems to need a longer insert connector. Its been super frustrating because I can't find the one it came with. Otherwise it was a good buy.

Useful for Security Duties
I love the durability, and versatility of the flashlight. I think the 1 second button hold function to turn it off is genius. Its very easy to hold and its very bright, but could be brighter. USB charging is great, and i love the magnet on the back. It is nicely lightweight, and it looks cool. Overall it functions pretty damn well.

Defective Battery if Unlucky
Even when it worked, the light hours were disappointing. Randomly after a month, I turned it off and it never would turn back on (...without being plugged in). Could not recharge at all, and if plugged in, it would turn off the second it was unplugged from the charger...so it became useless within a month of owning it and using it daily. Clearly, this flashlight uses a defective lithium ion battery, and/or has the utterly cheapest battery build inside this flashlight. The various light functions are nice (...when it works). It probably has 2 hours of life when using the brightest setting, so always use the 2nd option, the less bright main light. The black light uses a lot of juice. Focus slider is great also. I really loved the design. The magnet and clip adding a lot of useability and sold me on this unit originally. Update: the replacement I was sent is actually slightly different from the original one in a big way: it now uses a Micro-USB port to charge instead of the previous (and preferable) Type-C. Now I have to go back in time 5 years and continue to carry another Micro-USB cable in my pocket, when one of reasons I bought the thing in the first place was the C-port and the fact that I can use my phone cable to charge the flashlight. My guess is that the designers see this as an improvement because it prevents the cable from flipping out while charging, owing to the shape of the port. But any rational (and capable) human would choose to go with the times, ditch that last Micro-cable, and upgrade to the universal C-type port, and just figure out how to charge it without the cable slipping out if given the choice. Honestly, how does this product find ways to disappoint me, over and over?

Great flashlight! But....
Okay, while using this thing, it’s great! The light in all modes is incredibly bright and clear, the UV blacklight can illuminate things even in moderately well lit rooms, the size and heft is perfect (feels very solidly engineered). In fact, the only complaint I have about it’s function is that there is no memory function to its power switch, so if you’re using the blacklight to search for stains or scorpions, and you turn it off, you will have to cycle through all the various settings again when you turn it back on (though thankfully no the flashing red-and-white alert function). BUT.... You remember the old SNL “Happy Fun Ball” skit? The one about the toy that had absurd safety precautions? “Do not stare at Happy Fun Ball. Do not expose Happy Fun Ball to Moisture, light, or air”... those commercials? Yeah, that’s what the users manual is like for this flashlight. Apparently it cannot be used in a hot environment, a cold environment, a “close, sealed environment,” and if it ever gets exposed to water (despite being advertised as water resistant) you’re supposed to disassemble the whole thing and dry each component thoroughly and carefully. Then there’s this direct quote from the manual: “The first charge should be also be taken out in time according to the change of the charger indication, without charging.” I mean... huh??? Then this. In one section, “If you do not use the battery for a long time, you should fully charge the battery and recharge it once in about three months.” THEN IN THE VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH, IT SAYS “If it is stored for a long time, put the battery to 40% and place it.” Direct quote. What??? Which is it??? I don’t know. To me, a flashlight is one of those tools you keep in your car —in the summer and winter— and never use until you absolutely need it. One of those things that only the most responsible of us change the batteries on once a year, at the same time as our smoke detectors. I don’t want to have to pay the same level of care to an emergency tool that I do to an ultralight laptop... that’s crazy. Wonder if they sell a version that takes old fashioned AA or C-cell batteries....?

Not worth it
I wouldn’t recommend it. The battery drains quickly and the UV output is weak. It doesn’t fulfill the requirements for its intended use.
