These are awesome for med to large parrots as a chew toy. At $4.50 each my Amazons and Greys love these. They perch on them and then chew them up. Great toy and good perch. I have ordered these multiple times and will continue to stock up!

My bird loved the platform perch. This is where he sleeps. He is very young bird. This is where he feels safe, secure and stable. It doesn’t take up a lot of room in the cage.

My bird did not approve but overall I thought they were nice and sturdy and easy to install and functional and a great deal price wise

I bought several of these for my cockatiels as well as my brothers. My brothers used them as chewing toys as well as a well needed flat platform to sit on (different perch types are crucial for foot health and comfort in parrots). Him chewing on them means it has needed to be replaced, but only once in about 4 years, so nothing to actually worry about.Meanwhile my two girls also loved them, but I had to remove it from one of their cages. She was being lazy and not sitting on it correctly and ended up creating sores on her ankles from where she was resting. I think this is unlikely to happen often, my bird is just lazy and a bit dim. My vet suggested I wrap the perch in some soft cloth, which worked (sorry I can't remember the brand she suggested, but check with your vet that whatever you're going to use isn't going to be easily ingested to block their digestion, or otherwise poisonous) but I ended up just taking the perch out entirely because of how often I had to re-wrap it when soiled.Overall I highly suggest it. Our birds use it flat side up and bark side up and use them just as regularly as their rope and dowel rod perches.

This is a really great (loft-like) wide perch, I bought for my dove’s non-flight cage. It facilitates a coup experience in allowing as desires, flat resting, of feet, toes, and provides comfortable sleep, too! It fastens easily and securely to a cage AND, is quite easy to clean! Just lay a saturated wet paper towel piece over its top surface for a few minutes, wipe clean, then blot to dry:) It is lightweight yet sturdy, and I certainly endorse buying this best health and quality happiness advocative product, for birds! This was an opportune find!!👏😊

They seem good except worried about a film on them like a shilac or something, not sure if that would be toxic to my pet.

These work perfectly for my house pigeon. The wood is softer than it looks in the photos. He loves to roost on these.
