Yes it is clear when it is spread on. It is very similar in texture and color to Vaseline.

Can you use this on o-rings?

Yes,and it works very good. I converted the A/C on my truck to 134A and used this on all the o-rings over a year ago and have not had any issues. Works very good.

I want to use this to lubricate the weather seals along all 4 doors and the trunk of my 2012 Impala. Will one 1oz tube be enough for the job?

Yes, I used les than one tube on a 2008 Uplander minivan, all door seals. You need to apply it thin and rub it in well.

this grease was used on the metal parts of a corvette targa roof demonstration video to stop noise, will it work ?
