Is this pipe perforated?

The description says perforated, I did not see that when I bought 10 of them last year. They definitely ARE perforated but I didn’t figure that out until past the warranty. It will let a lot of water out before it gets to where you want it. Waste of money!!!

is this pipe designed to be buried underground?

I have buried mine no more than a foot below surface. Works great.

Black drain pipe is UV resistant, but not UV proof. This will probably last 3-5 years, if not longer, in full sunlight before it becomes brittle.

I have expanded it only by holding it in my hands and then pulling the compressions apart. For most men it requires what I would judge as 'medium' strength and exertion. It might be difficult for women though. I hope this response helps you.
