- Exactly as it looks in the picture. This is a big plus when online shopping.- The foam is sturdy and the disk is quite thick. It is not flimsy, and can hold quite a bit of weight.- The instructions are the real winner. This was my first time braiding, and I didn't have to resort to watching endless tutorials while fiddling about with a new piece of equipment. The instructions are clear and detailed, and contain some great tips.This was a success from the very first braid. Can't get better than that.

Perfect tool to make kumuhimo braids!!

Kimihimo Disk - Worth having
If you're dabbling in Kumihimo, you can absoluately make a cardboard wheel that I am sure will work fine. However, I wanted to avoid the effort (yes, being lazy). This is perfect. Lightweight, easy to hold, does the job. It's not the fault of this disk that I am horrid at Kumihimo :)
