It is wonderful!!!
Finally found something that work for my 4th metacarpal break. I’ve had a brace from the urgent care ortho , 2 casts and a splint from the ortho doctor. they all either made my thumb numb, my fingers swell or was incredibly uncomfortable. This is working so great! It is not letting my pinky and ring finger bend too much. It has a metal splint that holds my hand straight where it needs it. It’s better than the splint they made at ortho! It’s much more comfortable and I don’t have to wrap it, I just put it on! I’m thrilled! It’s only been an afternoon that I’ve worn it but for the price, ease and comfort, I’d order 3 than do anything else I’ve had to do!

Saved my vacation
Three days before my vacation I fell and broke my fifth metacarpal. I had already passed the free reservation cancellation window so I ordered this and went to the beach with a broken hand. Hey what can you do? Despite the discomfort it worked great and I had a decent trip. Driving was a bit of a challenge but I made it work. Would definitely recommend.

Great product
Fit my 5 year old daughter well, great quality, and way cheaper than ordering through doctor.

Nice
It works well, it was just a bit too big for my hand. However, my hand is on the smaller size so it would probably fit everyone else. The velcro is very sturdy, which kept my fingers in place.

If you have finger tendon pain, stabilize your finger with this.
If you have finger tendon pain, stabilize your finger to let it heal. I have sharp pain on the inside of my right ring finger (side next to middle finger, palm side). If I try to do anything that bends my finger back into a fully straight position, I feel sharp jabbing pain and tightness. You don't realize how much you do with a finger until you get reminded often with pain. I kept trying not to use it, but you can't so you just keep hurting it. I researched on youtube and found flexor tendonitis. I tried to make the Star Trek V (2 fingers on left, 2 on right), can do this easily on left hand, but it stretches tendon too much and it hurts on the right. I knew I needed something like a cast to keep finger stable. I looked at many online and measured my hand carefully and looked at size charts. So of course I did get the correct size. I love the metal piece that keeps my pinky and ring finger straight and protected. It is hard to do anything to my finger with this sturdy brace on! It does feel strange at first, but I can type with a stylus on my phone, hunt & peck style, hold it with middle, index, and thumb. I had to loosen the brace a bit, realized it did not have to be so tight around the fingers, the metal piece does the supporting. Maybe this will finally heal now! I am amazed what watching some videos on tendonitis taught me. Will update after using longer, just got it tonight. Will definitely wear while sleeping. Will do gentle stretches only to try to regain flexibilty over time. I am so happy to have this, may get a second one for when it will need be washed and hung to dry.Upate: I am happy to report this did the trick for me. One of the smarter purchases I have made. Keeping the finger safe while it heals is just what I needed.

Pinky metacarpal injury
Bought an XS even measured my hand and went off the size chart but it was smaller than anticipated. The advertised photo shows your ring finger being fully covered but my ring finger pokes out. Luckily I only need to stabilize my pinky and my pinky is fully covered so it worked out fine for me, but keep that in mind if you need your ring finger fully covered. The strap that wraps around the knuckles is too short; The Velcro touches my skin making it uncomfortable (2nd photo). Wrist part is fine. I wish I was able to bend the splint so my hand is resting in a more natural state opposed to being completely straight but I should’ve done more research and bought a different brand that matches my needs more.
