I used 2 sheets A4 size to cover the hole when I took a cat flap out of a white PVC door, one sheet on each side of the door. This worked well, but to do this I then had to find a way to fix the sheet in place. I decided to glue in onto the PVC surface of the door on each side with some insulation in between to fill the void and prevent heat loss, which was the reason for taking the cat flap out in the first place as it was causing a cold draught in the kitchen. I decided to use a strong glue to fix the two sheets in place, and so far this has worked out fine. I could have drilled the corners and screwed it to the door but I figured gluing it would look less obvious. The colour doesn't exactly match the white PVC door, but close enough not to be a problem. I guess the issue of fixing all depends what you want it for, but worth bearing in mind that it's not self adhesive.

Just what I was looking for, and a good price.

I bought this as a backing for a cupboard handle. Works great and since then I have used other parts of it for various small jobs. Can be cut and sawn easily as well as drilled.
