Useless thing that could waste your money easily. Don't bother buying! I had a lot of trust in this device, after reading positive reviews here. However, it turned out to be a very poor quality product with so many glitches, completely unstable, poor cell reception and gps signal, and one of the important things, very short battery life. They say it will hold for weeks? Lies, it will die in 2-3 days, even if you will use in the low-power saving mode, which will turn device off and on every 15 minutes. The worst part of this thingy, that it uses T-Mobile sim cards. This company used to drive me crazy, when I was a client of theirs several years ago. Poor signal quality, constant drop calls, missed calls and texts are a known trademarks of this carrier. So, when your tracker relies on this, just ask yourself, do you want to take this risk? It's like, you are paying $290 for a device plus $18 a month for the service, only to find out that this very important moment, when your instrument in the case is missing, you can't read its location anymore, simply because T-Mobile coverage is only good enough if the burglar will stroll with your $$$ belongings in the open under the clear skies long enough. But seriously, do you want to take this risk? I had numerous problems with this tracker since the day one, and tried to resolve these issues. But the only answers I got from the customer service was that they "only work with T-Mobile", that "it's not possible to switch to another carrier, e.g. Verizon", which would most probably solve the service stability issues. Finally, a week ago, this tracker simply stopped working, or rather, it works, blinking with all its stupid lights, but it doesn't show any updates on the status map on the remote service. I was trying to manually force it to report its position, power-cycled it, send track now command from the panel, no use. It doesn't work at all. An ultimate waste of money and time. I'm trying to return the item at the moment, and I hope that Tempo technologies have enough consience in them to give me my money back. They should take the thing off the market and significantly impove it, if they really want to be trusted by the professional musicians, who have invested dozens and hundreds of thousands in their instruments, and are not willing to gamble with some half-cooked anti-theft devices. For now, my advice to my colleagues is simple - DON'T BUY!

I have been using the tracker for 6 months now and I am very pleased with the overall functionality. Both the mobile app and pc portal are easy to use and the battery lasts for ages. I feel a lot more relaxed about my instrument while travelling.

I have honestly been looking for something like this for years. So glad to have finally found it. So far it has been easy to use, reliable and the battery life is great. No complaints. I first ordered a GPS device that didn't require a subscription plan because I was trying to do it as cheaply as I could, but I guess there is a reason that those things are so cheap... it wasn't even worth the trouble. I also thought I might save money by getting a device that requires you to supply your own SIM card, but that turned out to be MUCH more expensive than just signing up for the monthly plan with this company. It has definitely worth it to have their tracking plan so far, and they actually offer customer service if you have questions, unlike some of the other ones that I looked at.

I use this device to track my guitars and I feel much more secure knowing that I can always see where it is. I love the inconspicuous design, and the company is great to work with. Great product!
