I recently held a cake decorating class for some teens and a few adults at a church function. I decided to have the class use these cake collars as a way of keeping the filling inside their cakes instead of having the students struggle to slather icing on the sides of their cakes. The majority of the class had not iced a cake before, so using the collars was a great way to give the students some extra time for decorating their cakes. When you're working with a large group of people, it's always nice to have some helping hands---and a few of the adults helped cut the cake collars in half since the cakes were just one layer; that worked out really well. I like the included "Thank you!" stickers, but I sure wish they had included more of them. By the way, the stickers stuck really well; I'm so glad---because we were dealing with a LOT of sticky fingers, etc.! I recommend these cake collars because of their strength and pliability and ease of wrapping around 1/4 sheet cakes---and the fact that I could split them in half to go around single layer cakes; well, now I have a lot of extra collars to use for the next class!

Sturdy, smooth and clear. Product arrived early and in good condition. Works as expected. Supported a 5 inch layered mousse cake, allowing me to stack it while maintaining straight sides and a level top. Stickers were included in package. Great product.
