Lightweight and excellent quality
I love these. They're so lightweight, crystal clear and really easy to adjust. I have another larger oair ov opticron binoculars, but they became to heavyfor me to co forably use. These are great, so lightweight, I take them with me every time I go for walks.

Lightweight.
I liked the light weight, easy to handle and very good field of view. Although they have ED glass I compared them with my Opticron 8 x 42 bins with no ED glass and couldn't tell any difference be it cloudy or sunny, so disappointed. Sorry I didn't purchase the non ED glass and saved myself a few quid. My opinion may change when I've had them much longer.

Smallest and lightest 8 x 32 binoculars I could find
Smallest and lightest 8 x 32 binoculars I could find. This was also an upgrade from the Opticron Tiaga 8 x 25 binoculars which was 10 years old and was not waterproof ! as I recently discovered. Lightweight and much brighter and sharper than the Tiaga, I am delighted with the visual improvement and very happy with my purchase.

Ideal compact binoculars
The quality of Opticron binoculars is of the highest standard, but within a reasonable price range. There is always the problem of sacrificing quality for size yet these provide good optics with an affordable price.

Fantastic
These binoculars are perfect in size. Not too small and not too big. Perfect for watching golf tournaments and a bit of bird twitching. Great quality. You get what you pay for.

After reading many reviews, I chose these for an Alaska cruise. They exceeded my expectations. Wonderful wildlife & scenery viewing. Light enough to wear hiking & all over the ship.

I was nervous about ordering these binoculars for several reasons. First, the small number of reviews meant I couldn't get a "feel" for the quality of the product. However I can across a few very positive reviews from birders. Second, these are very expensive -- at least by my standards -- for compact binoculars. I was originally planning on getting a pair of Celestron Nature Views but I saw these binoculars on sale in the warehouse for more than half off. At that price I decided to give them a try. I can report these are fine binoculars for birdwatching or terrestrial viewing. The only problem I ran into is that turning the knob feels a little "mushy". I have to adjust on one direction and then dial back a fraction of a turn before I can get things into perfect focus. (I'm wondering if the mushy feel is the reason the binoculars were returned?) Once you get into focus the view is clear and tack sharp. They work fine in cold weather and do not fog up when I bring them outdoors. I don't know if you want to pay the full price but they are a really high quality glasses. These Opticrons are good for a quick view of the moon, but they aren't veryuseful for astronomy. (Compact binoculars aren't recommended for this type of observing.)

This was my first binocular purchase and I couldn’t be more pleased. The ease of focusing and clarity of the lenses is outstanding. The 8x42 magnification is perfect for bird watching with either holding in my hand or using a tripod. The quality is superb and the five year warranty is the best for the price.

These binoculars weigh almost nothing and are very small. While the optics are not as good as full sized and more expensive binoculars these are perfectly good for birdwatching. The price is also very good.

Very small for a 8x32 binocular, the packaging(box) was beat up however the contents were not damaged, if gifting they would have been returned, also the makers logo was turned to the back of the eyepiece and not on the front as shown on the box. Only cosmetic and as the binocular works fine I can live with that. Price O.K. as one can pay a lot more for an ED 8x32 binocular. However these are not in the same league as say Zeiss or Leica which cost several times more.
