I use these logs in my small 2 person hot tent. My mom uses them in her larger 4 person hot tent. They burn about 4 hours per log. My stove is a bit smaller and depending on how much I open up the damper I can burn one of these logs for 6 hours. They are wonderful to use through the night! To only have to refuel the fire once a night is incredible.However they burn very hot! So if using them in a small stove like we do be aware of that. Sometimes we have to almost completely shut down the air flow to the stove because the chimneys get pretty red. We use them in usually 10F-30F degree weather and are usually sweating because of how much heat they continuously put off.Also, 1 of these large logs fits perfectly into our stoves, and then can easily be lit! It’s very convenient.Lastly, they are much messier than plain wood, my stove, damper, and chimney need cleaned more frequently with these. The soot smell (not while burning, but during cleaning) is also much worse than just wood ash.I will definitely continue buying these, it’s way cheaper than buying firewood, which burns down in my stove in under an hour, therefore constantly needs fed.

Fired my 1st log this evening in my fire pit. You light it all along the top and corners of the paper it's encased in and that's it. It seemed like it was going to go out before it was going to start so I tee-peed small squares of cardboard around it to get it hotter and lit those. Within a few minutes, a full blaze. Really nice fire for only one log in my pit. Lasted 2.5 hrs just as it says which is all I need as I relax. About every half hour I give it a few nudges with my poker and it's brightly blazing again. As others have pointed out, you'll find more of a chemical smell, but it's really not so bad. I bought 2 boxes and I'll buy more in the future.

They light easily and burn with a nice full flame and last several hoursI use mine in an indoor stone fireplace

I really like the product however it smokes more than regular firewood. I have a Solo Stove brand fire pit which is smokeless when using firewood. This wood is a bit too smoky from other similar "long lasting" firewood.
