32 oz, White : Nalgene Wide-Mouth Replacement Lid - 32 oz

I bought some stainless steel bottles on ebay. I dropped one on a wooden floor and the cap shattered. I was surprised. This cap works well as a replacement. This cap is not the brittle kind of plastic that shatters easily. I just to have make sure it's on tight. I just tighten the cap tight and hold the bottle with purified water in it upside down for about 15 seconds to make sure it's on tight enough.

We learned the hard way, you should always take off the caps from your water bottles before washing. We had to replace all of the tops due to the dishwasher melting the originals.

One beautiful afternoon, I was out playing Frisbee and tried to toss my Nalgene bottle to the side of the playing area. Like a moron, I grabbed the thin piece that keeps the top attached to the bottle, and it snapped in my hand. Just snapped right in my hand! I had put that lid through a lot of bending and throwing, so it was no surprise that this happened, but I was still disappointed. I got online, pointed my browser right to Amazon dot com, and purchased this white Nalgene lid (my old one was blue, but the white one was a few cents cheaper and I thought I would live a little).This lid keeps the water right inside my Nalgene, unless I open it, then it flows forth like the River Jordan. Sweet, refreshing water. Buy this lid.

Was the right size and shape for my 32oz widemouth bottle. Happy but was biting my nails in fear it wouldn't fit! But it did.

Fits perfectly onto my REI branded nalgene bottle. The connector loop holding the cap to the bottle was cut nearly in half so I ordered this as a replacement. Popped onto the bottle and fits perfectly, no leaking.
