Right out of the box they cut so clean.

The steep sides allow deeper cuts but especially let's the cut be changed from narrow to wide and flat in the same stroke.

There ok,they seem to be a little light in weight.Cutter is sharp but steel very thin.

I use these for cleaning and carving diamond willow and other weathered wood. I really like the curved blades of different sizes for getting into tight spaces.
