8Bitdo Sn30 Pro+ Bluetooth Gamepad (G Classic Edition) - Nintendo Switch

I bought this controller after A LOT of research. I am a PC, Switch and Android gamer, and this controller is perfect for gaming on all those systems. This is a very versatile controller as you can change modes [Switch mode, X-input mode (Xbox), D-input mode (Android) or macOS mode] and make it work with any of those systems. It also comes with Turbo functionality, which can be quite crucial in some games which have tiresome tasks (I'm looking at you Animal Crossing). Apart from that, it also has Macros, which can be programmed to any of the buttons and can help you out in fighting games like Street Fighter. With regards to its shape, it resembles the classic SNES controller but with handles and the analog stick placement is akin to a Dualshock 4 controller (PS4), which is totally fine by me. The best thing is it has motion controls, so games like BoTW are no problem at all. The motion controls even work in Steam, although of course currently no PC games support it. I can confirm the motion controls work GREAT in emulators like CEMU. With regards to rumble (vibrations), this one has em and they're great but I would've loved if it had HD Rumble but that's okay. If you're worried about quality, then don't be. This is a rock solid controller, and must I say, much more durable than a DS4 itself. About the company, 8bitdo, I can say that they make great products, and this is not the only 8bitdo product I own. I also have their 8bitdo Bluetooth Adapter, which works great. I like how 8bitdo has provided us with three colors to choose from, the G Classic Edition (with Maroon Gameboy buttons), the SNES Edition (blue buttons) and the most recent full Black Edition. I went with the Gameboy Edition because I love the Maroon buttons and how they are all convex (unlike the SNES Edition, which has a mix of convex and concave buttons). Even though I've written such a big review, I still haven't talked about many of this controller's features. It's truly a great controller. I use it on my desktop (wired), android phone (wireless) & laptop (wireless). Pros: - Works on Windows PC & Android. - Works on PS3, PS4, Xbox & Nintendo Switch. (Confirmed with other friends) - Type C connector. - 1000 mAh replaceable & rechargeable battery. I can also use 2 AA normal batteries. - Bottom shoulder buttons (L2 & R2) are analog. Racing games are a blast. - The Ultimate software is amazing. I can customize the buttons, macros & even set dead zones for analog & bottom shoulder buttons (L2 & R2). Cons: - The ABXY button layout is of Nintendo style and the buttons are a bit skewed rather than + style but you can get used to it. - The charging & player notification lights are at top & bottom of the controller respectively. I have to look top/bottom to know the status of controller. - It's a bit on heavier side. PS players notice it. Note: - To pair the controller with different devices there are different combinations mentioned in their brochure & website. - You can pair only one device at a time. - The vibration of left motor is more than that of right one. This is by design. It's certainly worth buying. I'll submit photos of the controller.

This controller is amazing. I’ve been using it with my Nintendo switch and The response time is as good as the original controller. The haptic from this controller is better than the original one. If you don’t want to spend money on the pro controller I will recommend you to get this one.

Stick still drifts like a bitch and I gotta say the NES color imo looks poopoo compared to the others but that's subjective. What isn't is that the control sticks in this are super bad and glitchy and not good quality at all. Remind of Nintendo's fiasco

Produit très bien fini, très agréable en prise en main, moi qui est des petite main tout les boutons sont bien accessibles sans problème, tout fonctionne à merveille pour ceux qui aurais des soucis pensé à mettre à jour la manette sur le site 8bitdo officiel et à l'associé en fesant la bonne manipulation pour quel puisse être reconnu directement les plastique sont de très bonne qualité Bref une manette que je recommande vivement au joueur ps4, xbox, pc, rétro-gaming (reconnu de suite sous recalbox sur pi4 ou pi 3 b+) il faut l'associer en mode Android pour recalbox par exemple

This controller is rising a new bar in what third party companies can bring to the table as controller solutions, literally the universal remote to any console, especially when paired with a mayflash or 8bit adapter, the D pad is partically a D pad ripped straight outta a snes controller and slapped on a PlayStation controller resulting in the most comfortable and best peformaning controller I've ever paid for. You can even take out the rechargable battery pack and use your own AA batteries, so honestly the only thing missing is RGB, extended thumb pads and rear programmable buttons and touch pad support, who knows we may get those in the future.

Este mando es excelente para juegos en 2D como plataformas, juegos clásicos de NES y SNES. Tiene un excelente D-Pad que emula bastante bien el de Nintendo en sus primeras consolas y se siente excelente de usar. Los joysticks se sienten idénticos a los del PS4 y se ubican en el mismo lugar, por lo que si ya los has utilizado antes sabes que esperar. Los botones se sienten bastante satisfactorios de presionar y emulan de manera correcta el tipo de botones de la NES y de la SNES. Se siente bastante bien en las manos y es cómodo gracias a los grips que le agregaron en comparación a el SN30 pro original. La batería parece durar bastante pues en aproximadamente dos semanas solo lo he cargado una vez (Aunque realmente no juego durante mucho tiempo, así que en sesiones largas no sé como se comporte). Un problema (que concierne a su uso con la Switch al menos) es que los gatillos son análogos por lo que en juegos que requieren usarlos rápidamente como Smash bros, existe un delay por la distancia de viaje del dicho gatillo, pero como también puede ser usado en PC los gatillos análogos terminan teniendo un uso. Pienso que es una excelente opción y alternativa al control pro de Nintendo por precio/calidad y no creo que decepcione a nadie que lo compre.

An absolute must buy for any Nintendo Switch owner. The D-Pad on this controller is superior to the Official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller which is vital for 2D games, especially fighting games. The full compatibility with a myriad of other devices such as Android and PC is also an enormous boon for the 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ as well. When you consider the fact that you're getting all this functionality at a fraction of the price of the Pro Controller, there is absolutely no contest when it comes to a third-party seller providing gamers with top-tier quality that matches or even surpasses the official first-party product. All this at a phenomenal value to boot!!
