What cartridge extender can i buy to pair with my replacement moen 1234 cartridge? or, how can i remove the existing extenders without damage?

Hello and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 1234 cartridge may use different extension kits depending on the model. The extension can be removed from the cartridge. First, locate the section of the extension with 5 ribs. Using pliers, grip the section with 5 ribs and tilt the extension inwards to release it from the cartridge.
