The toy was broken by my dog in 1 day.

My dog chewed it off in just a few hours

We have two Great Pyrenees puppies, 8 months old and around 80 lbs. Although they don't chew on things very often, the things they do chew tend to get destroyed with how big these puppies are. This ring is great! It is solid and my dogs haven't been able to rip it up. It literally looks brand new after a few weeks of use.I was worried about it being too small, but it is honestly a great size and there is no way it will get swallowed (our puppies are about five feet tall standing on their hind legs, so pretty big, and they can't get their mouths completely around this ring -- no chance of choking).Solid Kong toy.

My two large retreivers have been unable to destroy this toy. They lost one, so this is the second. Both have held up well to two dogs who take the "IN" out of INDESTRUCTIBLE in "tough" dog toys.

I bought this for my mom and grandmother's dog. He liked to chew on EVERYTHING- from Fabreez bottles to my grandmother's oxygen tubes. He just chewed everything. Last thing I wanted was him to chew on something that would hurt him or someone else since he was well on his way to doing that.After he got it my mother said he goes to town chewing on it and has mostly left the other stuff alone.The dog is a medium sized dog- looks sorta like a larger sized chihuahua with long legs and he is less than a year old. (I am more of a cat person, so I don't know what type he is exactly) Basically his head goes up to your knee if that helps. And he is skinny, not beefy like some of those muscular dogs- I don't know if that helps either. But he does have a smallish head which is why I chose this Kong product. I didn't want something that would be too small that he could swallow or too large that he could get it caught on his jaw. This product is just right for him and he loves it. So if you have a chewer, I suggest this product. Do make sure it isn't too small or too large for the pupper though.
