The media could not be loaded.  I have three PENN-PLAX loungers. While this one is my least favorite, it is still useful for a change of scenery. All three loungers are high quality, natural materials so I recommend the brand.This lounger is an odd hard shell "taco" shape. After being out of the package for 1 year the shape has loosed up. We are able to use it as a wall climber or as a cool side "taco" bed. It wont work as a hot side bed because the taco sides provide too much shade. Recently the bearded dragon has taken to sitting on top of it in the wall configuration.

I bought this for my sons leopard gecko. It is pretty large and will work for most sizes of geckos. It is very sturdy and very well made. I would 100% buy this again for the price.

In my past experience, dried reeds don't often mold, especially not quickly, when dried and treated properly even when exposed to high humidity environments. These hammocks molded extremely quickly putting the health of my reptile at risk. I would only recommend these for extremely dry climate reptiles or animals with low ambiant humidity requirements and absolutely no misting needs. My hopes to keep my enclosure looking more natural has come to an end, I'm returning this for a nylon version that won't mold and can be more thoroughly cleaned should it pick up something nasty. There is no saving this lounger.
