I used to not drink coffee and then one day as my job slowly sucked my soul into oblivion I stumbled upon the glory that is caffeine via delicious coffee. I immediately became a coffee snob ... burr grinders, and perfect brewing techniques, and obsession with finding that perfect cup. Well my friends that journey has now ended. My life has new meaning thanks to this single magical blend of beans known as the Bruin Blend.On the first sip you will be smacked with an actual bear paw from within your mug which surprisingly heightens the flavors that are gracing you with their presence. This coffee is smoother than a newborn baby's butt with every sip. When you finish you will cry because the cup is empty and you can't handle the pain. The flavor will leave your tongue satisfied more than your sexy secret mistress and you will at last know what mouth sex truly is. Your entire kitchen will smell like victory because that is exactly what you just brewed. You thought your carafe was full of liquid ... and it is ... liquid victory.Shrines should be built in honor of this coffee. Wars have been started over less. Do not share it with your friends. I rate this coffee at a 5 not because I really really loved it, but because it is exactly what it describes. I have only ever had very dark roast beans with chocolatey and earthy undertones. I honestly had never tried a coffee that has been described as "floral" or "winey." However, I can honestly say that my first impression of this coffee was "hmm.." I have had only one other Raven's Brew coffee and that is Wicked Wolf blend, which I found delightfully earthy and full bodied. This cup tastes exactly how it is described, like a fruit and wine symphony which works very well with this roast. I can imagine that if it was a dark roast, the mellow wine flavor would become bitterness. Which brings me to the next point, this coffee is not pure unleaded petroleum in a cup. It is a lighter roast and results in a more delicate flavor.It's not my favorite cup ever, but that is today. I can imagine it being an excellent summer coffee and even a good iced coffee. I was not sure what to expect from this cup, but know that when Raven's Brew describes it's coffee, it is very accurate.

Very tasty, but highly caffeinated - I had to stop drinking it, was keeping me awake when I'd have preferred to be sleeping. But if you're looking for a jolt, this coffee delivers.

Not sure how to write this review have been around the block on coffees, here goes. I started out with the 3P Billy Goat and have now worked my way through every one of them except for the " Pearls" and I will try that as well. I love everyone of them, have been back several times now. I have the office hooked on it, everyone shows up at my door wanting to know what is on the menu today. Some smell it coming down the hall and don't make it to their office with out filling the cup. What I am saying here is if you are up for experimenting and trying new coffees I don't think you will make a mistake here on any of them. You may just zero in on one you really like. Not a one in the group would I turn down, this is good quality coffee. By the way read the Bio on the company and you will find some interesting things, the marketing on the bags for my generation just fits the bill and adds some fun, you will feel right at home. This week at work it was Deadman's Reach, really enjoyed it and so did everyone else. They are now buying for themselves, Ravens Brew Hats off.....Whole Bean Vaccum packed bags make it come to you fresh, price is right.I am sold,of course its just an opinion,good hunting for your flavor of choice.

Great coffee

This is my favorite coffee bean, but my first time buying via Amazon. The beans were dry and medium brown rather than dark and glossy. The expiration date was listed as 6/10/25. Still good, but not great. Maybe they changed the roast on this blend, not sure.
