The rod does not stay very well to the base; it needs some extra lock washers or a nylock nut. I had to 3d print an extra piece to make it stable. However, it is inexpensive. You get what you pay for.

It isn’t perfect, but it’s as good as it gets up until the 100s price range. I used dumbbell weights to weigh down the stand to keep it from falling over, but depending on what you are doing this might not be necessary. If you try to hold anything full it will flex a bit, but otherwise sturdy. I recommend

The product is extremely unstable. Not enough thread on the screw underneath the base to make it tight enough to support the weight of the stand. I guess that’s what you get for $30. Would work for a prop but not everyday constant use in an actual lab.

Spend a little more and get something that’s not going to break your expensive glassware.
