All the pieces are the same size so it is easy for the dog to find the pieces. But the puppy does love it

My Bichon Frise rescue doggie has the best fun searching for treats in this product. It’s safe to use, no sharp edges like the plastic ones. It’s easy to fill, easy to clean. I use only soft chewy treats that I’m able to break in smaller pieces. Doggie heaven! Side note: it’s entertaining for my doggie, and for me watching the hunt!

Our dog does not play with toys or fetch. He will run in the yard with us. It is hard to entertain him inside.Hiding a little food in here gets him very active and excited.

This snuffle mat is my favorite so far, it's very soft and the material is denser than the felt mats I bought before so it forces my dogs to eat slow. Dogs love it too, they're having a lot of fun at mealtime now!

My dog has three teeth and a sensitive mouth due to his old age. I got him some puzzles but they were hard plastic and he occasionally would hurt a tooth on them. Decided to try this out since it was soft, allowed him some challenge when sniffing things out, and hoping the cloth material still offers a little abrasion to help his remaining teeth and gums.He enjoys it most importantly and can’t hurt himself on it, so 10/10. Might be a little simple and flimsy for a dog that would go ham and bat it around as it doesn’t really “stick” to the floor as the rubber gripping suggests. It is easily movable. For the old or gentle pups out there this is a winner.

I love this mat! I am able to put his pellets in the various hiding spots and he really enjoys foraging for them. What would usually take him 3 minutes to eat out of his regular food bowl now takes about 15 minutes with his mat. He absolutely cannot wait to find his goodies!

Whenever I get it out he is sooo excited!! Easy to clean too!

Product is so cute and very well made. My puppy finds the treats super fast, and doesn't keep her interested for other than a few minutes. But it's at least a distraction!

Au début mon chat n'en voulait pas .Mais quand les autres "mangeoires " sont devenues plus difficiles ou plus compliquées, tout compte fait , il a été adopté.

We were looking for a way to slow our Frenchie down for her meals. Also as a way to engage her and get her to be tired. We looked for a mat that she could access everything with her flat snout. This mat is perfect. Some had reviewed that it did not hold up a wash. We washed ours every week with liquid detergent on a short wash setting at 30C and let it air dry (which goes pretty fast even if not in the sun). I think we have been doing this for at least about 6 months. Everything is still as it was, no seams have loosened. We just purchased another one, as we are changing foods because of allergies and I don‘t know if washing it the way we do, will get all the residue of our current food out. I might try washing this at a higher temperature now that we have a second one for the new food. I will say though, that the new one we ordered—is similar but NOT the exact same. The yellow flower on our first has really nice long petals, and the colorful „grass“ has really long stripes..the new one has shorter on all of that. It does make having longer „grass“ nicer and faster to hide things into.

The media could not be loaded.  This works well with greedy but gentle doggies (a paradox).1. Insert food in hidden pockets, nooks and crannies.2. Let your dog use his/her nose to sniff out and retrieve the food. Good to use their sense of smell.3. Compliment the dog for successfully finding food.Caveats1. May not be good is the dog is greedy and rough as it is easy to tear the snuffle mat.2. If your dog is not food motivated then they are not going to bother using this mat unless it is a treat/food they really love.3. Not so good for wet or cooked food as then you need to wash the snuffle mat after every use.
