Fil-Fresh 4-Pack Water Filter Replacement, Water Pitchers and Dispensers

I love these filters. The flow was fast and the water crystal clear! They fit all out name brand pitchers and water containers with spigot. We had our water tested before and after using these filters and I was surprised at how much these filters clean the water. Significantly less expensive than name brand and do a great job. Highly recommend!

Does what the seller claims: Fits the OEM's filter form factor and filters your water for half the price. Just tasted the water it filtered and it does indeed do about the same amount of filtration as the OEM filter. One important note: The OEM's filter is initially cleaned by running water through it from your faucet for about 30 seconds. Tried that with this one and it did not clean it. To be fair to the manufacturer of this one though, they clearly say on the box to first install it in your filter vessel then let the water in the top reservoir run through it once. You will see black from the charcoal filtering out. After you've done this once, simply pour out the black water, rinse your pitcher, then you should be good to go.

This is the worst filter I've used for Pur brand water filtration devices. The fit is ever so slightly off where it seats in the body of the Pur tank, which honestly isn't really an issue necessarily, but once it's seated, it either filters painfully slow, stops filtering completely, or filters so fast that it makes you wonder if it's even filtering anything. That last part makes me scratch my head because OEM Pur filters aren't super fast, but they're consistent and the water tastes good. I have dumped out so much water after filtering it with these filters, simply because it tastes wrong, for lack of a better word. I suggest people just get an OEM Pur filter, or at least a product from a third party that knows what they're doing.

Easy to install in my Pur water pitcher. I just rinsed it for 15 seconds and screwed it into the pitcher. The water tastes better now and I can even notice the difference in my tea and cooking. highly recommend to anyone that wants to improve the taste of their tap water.

It is necessary to change the water cleaner filters frequently to remove chlorine and other impurities.. These work perfectly and are less costly than the brand name.

I like the price that I paid for these 4 filters, cheaper than the brand filters. I’m always looking to find a way to get products for the things that I need and use daily on a budget! The filters fit and work well to filter the water , so glad I found this for my pur water pitcher. This was definitely a good buy

I ordinarily don’t write reviews (though I should), but this one’s pretty important. Some reviewers swear by this product — reporting name-brand success — so, once our PUR filter needed to be replaced, I bought the ones sold here. Unfortunately, they performed less well than the PUR filters. I bought a water test kit (the kind with individual strips) because our tap water appeared to be high in chlorine. Not only can we taste the chlorine, we can smell it. According to the test strips, the tap water’s chlorine level is at the highest allowable limits. When I tested water filtered through the product sold here, results were slightly better, but just barely. We could still taste and smell the chlorine in the filtered water. When I tested water filtered through the PUR filter, chlorine levels were noticeably lower. Chlorine levels were considerably lower on the test strips, plus we neither smelled nor tasted chlorine in the filtered water. Here’s why this is important: both the tap water from the faucet and the water filtered through this product make our cat sick. But, she’s fine when drinking water filtered through the PUR filters. Based on my internet research, young children are also sensitive to chlorine. (True, they should drink special water, but still…) The product sold here may be perfect for people who have less chlorine in their water than we do. But, for us, these filters just don’t cut it. Sometimes is wiser to spend a few extra bucks on name-brand products.

The Water Filter Replacements worked as they should. They have a salty taste when you first rinse and replace. Other than that, they do the job. I highly recommend.
