I used this dimmer for an under cabinet light in my kitchen. It was a breeze to install. The 17mm forestner bit I used created a perfect fit for the 1/2 inch cabinet trim I mounted it in. As for the operation, it was just as fantastic. The small blue LED is always on... on the switch. A tap brings the LED lamps to full brightness. If you keep your finger on the switch, you can stop it at any brightness level you want. It works for more light or less light. You won't be disappointed using this dimmer switch.

As described: easy install w two wires for 12v source and two wires for led light(s). Easy to find in the dark, dimmable to get just the light you need.

Purchased several of these for my RV. Installed dimmable LED lights, worked for a week then failed. Replaced with a spare, failed within an hour. I’ve had too long and can send them back, but I also can use them, because the stop working and get extremely HOT. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE IN A FIRE!!!

The bright blue LED remains ON full-time, even when it is switched OFF. This can be OK for some uses but I need darkness when the light is switched off. And the blue LED can slowly drain a battery. Also note that the two wires of the LED fixture must connect to the two wires of the switch ONLY. The dimmer uses the LED ground, therefore the LED fixture cannot be grounded (to vehicle chassis, for example). The switch Bezel (which is not isolated from the center button) cannot be grounded to vehicle chassis either. So this item as designed, was not good for my camper. But it can be very useful in other applications.

worked temporarily (hours) one failed then the other the same. lights stuck on, switch would not adjust or turn off. quality looks good and were great for the short time they worked.

These work great until you have them installed and then they just stop turning off. So that was fun re-doing it. Lol Honestly. Follow most everyone else's advice and don't buy these.

Even an experienced pro is going to burn these up with out a wiring diagram ! Are we supposed to guess input? All I got out of this was POOF... Magic Smoke.!

Almost caught my camper on fire. As soon as I connected power it started smoking and crackiling sound. 12 volt light system shouldn't do this, hazardous item.
