The surface is very slippery...the first time I put my laptop on it...I shifted in my seat and the laptop slid to the floor. I solved the problem by ordering little sticky plastic feet for the laptop, which stopped it from sliding. If you wish to check this out and be prepared, you will be happy. I haven't had the problem since. I was fortunate that it turned out OK...but it scared me, so beware

I purchased this item yesterday after my last lap desk (which was *not* made by this company) literally broke in half after lots of use. So I was very excited when it arrived this morning just in time for me to start working from home, which was earlier than expected. After opening the box, I was even happier to see the adorable design and high quality of the product. The desk part itself seems incredibly sturdy for being so lightweight and appears as though it will easily outlive my last lap desk, and the design is 100x more aesthetically appealing. I like the cushion portion of this item as well because it seems relatively easy to keep the weight evenly distributed so the actual desk portion doesn't get overloaded on one side from my laptop. Overall, even though I've just received the product I feel it is a great value compared to other lap desks I've bought and browsed. Highly recommend!

It's a perfectly fine lapdesk. It's pretty and comfortable on your lap. However, I ordered this specific lapdesk for the zippered section shown in the product pictures. I will keep the lapdesk, but I am very disappointed that it does not have that feature.

I had the same lapdesk for 40 years, and it finally fell apart. I searched very carefully for a new one and settled on this one: I have NOT been disappointed. It’s cute but is classy enough for an adult. It’s a great shape and size. I use it every single day, and it was worth every cent I paid for it!

Great buy I love everything about this to cold my computer. I've even used it for my crafts to sit on my lap white I watch tv. It has a nonslip top that securely hold pretty much anything. This is an awesome investment. Love it. The color 👍

I bought this as a small gift to my wife and she loved it. Her 12inch Macbook fits nicely on the surface. The cushion is comfortable and she can have it on her lap for quite some time without any issues. The surface is a little too slippery though, even with a small angle the device could easily slip off.

I needed something flat to write on when I'm in my chair. It sets on my leg or the arm of my chair. Bean bag helps it set nicely and a hard surface to write on. I like it. Works great.

I got the pink one, and it's very light-weight. Unfortunately, the top surface is very slippery, and the tablet slides right off of it. A laptop will probably stay on due to its rubber feet, but anything in a traditional leather or plastic case without the rubber will glide off. I'll have to sand down the slick surface or tape a thin sheet of rubber to it.
