I'm so pleased with these lights. I bought two strips to go above two areas in my kitchen. The strips are placed in back and around front of the objects I have up there. I wanted a soft light so I have them at 20% brightness which works great. Based on the information about the adapter plug, I made sure to buy one with the right voltage and it works fine. Easy peezy. For my project I drilled a hole into the middle cabinet because there is an electrical outlet in there and I could plug both light strips into an adapter and put it on a timer on the outlet. As described, once I set the brightness at 20% every time the timer comes on in the evenings it stays at that 20% brightness level, so I don't need to adjust anything each time. It's beautiful and working perfectly.

They are super sticky so they stayed pretty easy. I think they had different color options last time I checked. They also have dimmer as shown in the picture. Made my desk look nicer.

I installed these along the bottom edge of a Dell All-In-One desktop to illuminate the keyboard. Works GREAT!. Make sure to clean the surface you going to attache them to. I used alcohol, but whatever you use, make sure it doesn't harm the surface or leave any residue. The adhesive strip worked fine for me, and I've had not issues with detaching. The bottom edge of my display hard plastic. I cut the strip to about 24 inches long. The dimmer works great and I attached it to the back side of the display with double sided tape. On the lowest setting, the light is perfect for a dim/dark room and provided plenty of illumination for typing. I NEVER use the higher settings as its just overkill brightness. If you use the entire strip, make sure your USB port can provide AT LEAST 1.5 to 2 amps. Not all computers will provide this much current to the USB port, and you may get flickering. If you get flickering, its most likely NOT an issue with the lights, but an issue with the USB port not supplying enough current.

The light quality and uniformity of the light is fantastic. The longer strip isn't enough for a 55" in TV even while using their handy little connectors/joiners (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8GBYSV2) and installing the LED strip around 3-4" inches towards the inside of the screen. I had previously purchased the 6.5' strip and ended up cutting off about 10-12" off of that one to add to this 9.84 ft strip. I don't know if they count the long USB and controller cord as part of that or what. But you may need to buy one or two of these in some combination depending on the size of your TV. The connectors are really useful to keep a cleaner, more uniform install in place. The adhesion of the 3M tape is excellent and the strip stays in place easily. I have a 55" LG OLED C3 Smart TV and the USB ports aren't powerful enough to keep these lights from blinking on and off. Luckily I could keep this strip on its lowest output and it would hold steady. I will be buying a master-controlled power strip so when the TV goes on, a USB adapter will turn on and power the LED strip. The output of the USB ports on the TV are .5A and around 5watts...hence why this strip is too powerful to simply run off the back. Keep that in mind for your TV. Many of us have plenty of old USB A chargers laying around we can use. As for the little controller, it works well. It's handy to have something where this can be adjustable based on your environment (of even if you just want to turn it off) It's a little clumsy to keep in place in an organized manner especially if you have a lot of cables coming into the back of your TV.

Place this under my floating TV unit. The dimming feature is great as you can get the illumination just right with ease. The glue is very strong holding indefinitely, taking all of a minute to install, and the light is very uniform and clear. the length was perfect for us as the unit is 8 ft so the light hides neatly out of sight from any angle yet illuminates outward making it appear to be full length. My only critique is I wish the power cord section were longer to reach inside my unit to the power strip without me needing to add an extension, but that's nit picking admittedly

Not even two hours after using, it kept dying on me. Cords were not twisted or anything. I think it just burnt out until it never turned on again.

I didn't want the super fancy light strips that have RGB, a fancy app to control settings, or a cheap controller I have to put somewhere. This is a super basic and very solidly made light strip that includes an easily concealable inline switcher to adjust the brightness and to turn it on and off. The product listing doesn't mention this directly, but you can safely cut along the thin black line in the middle of each copper strip to shorten the length of these too. The adhesive is strong and is easily applied, only took a couple seconds to install. For my purposes, I needed a light strip that would retain brightness and power settings when toggled from a power strip, and it works for that. I plugged it into the power strip, turned the product on and selected a brightness, so now every time that power strip turns on, the light strip automatically powers up with the correct brightness.

The first light I received had a problem — the dimmer didn’t work. I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly. They sent me a replacement right away, and the new light works perfectly. Great product and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

I’ve purchased multiple led strip lights so far this seems to be the best for what we need. Did not expect the usb powered light to be brighter than some more expensive direct power led lights we had purchased earlier. We got this for our kitchen counter under lights. It’s bright warm just the way we wanted it. The light is extremely low profile so far it has stuck well onto the cabinets and is thin enough so it was easy to hide. We had it for a few days so far it’s been good but mostly these lights in general don’t last too long. Time will tell if this can stand that test of time.

Was looking for a warm toned backlight for the television. This LED strip and controller was perfect for our 55 inch TV. Installation was as easy as peeling and sticking. I cut the strip into three pieces then soldered small wires to reconnect each strip. The strip requires 5V at 2A which unfortunately the TV doesn’t put out, so it required a small AC adapter to plug in, fortunately I had an extra kicking around. We are off-grid and have switched outlets for everything. The strip controller remembers its state including brightness next time power is applied. Perfect and very reasonably priced. I can highly recommend backlighting your TV for reduced eye strain. This unit is a very good buy.
