The Great Gatsby

A great classic story written very well displaying true writing prowess! Would recommend to anybody as the story itself is easy to follow and easy to get lost in!

Nice easy read, short book - classic literature at its best. Translates very well into the modern day. I would definitely recommend this book.

Amazing book!!

Okay, I don't really know how I feel about this book. I've never felt this before as I either like things or I don't, however this i'm really confused!I thought I would buy it before I watched the film as I hate watching films without reading the books first. I struggled getting into this book but once I did it was quite a pleasant read. I know the underlying story is about rich people who have it all can still be miserable but I just struggled to follow the story.I would buy it however as it definitely isn't a BAD book!

The way this guy writes is something to behold. Like he sees things and gives life to things I would never think of. It was a tragedy as a story, but I still loved it because of how he wrote it. Also... I don't think it has much to do with him personally, he is not that empty a person... I think it has more to do with how he views and understands others he has encountered in his life. He has a very perceptive point of view. I really enjoyed the book.
