Not water proofCan be when siliconed, easy to extend runs, patterns are retained through power cycles, would of like to had a fused power lead included.

Working as I need but I need extra cable yo extended to rear . not a big deal as I can use any cable yo extended it .

The biggest issue was the remote not working with the controller. The lights started flashing when connected to power but despite the light flashing on the remote when I pressed buttons the lights did not respond. I couldn't change the pattern or even make them stop flashing.I highly doubt the IP rating they claim on these as there is no gasket, O ring, or seal on the lights or the controller box. The lights are just a plastic lens and plastic housing over the circuit board with the LEDs and they're not even a good fit because the parts are warped. As for the "aluminum" heat sink they mention and show a picture of, it's just black plastic. I knew these would be pretty cheaply made for the price but I figured they'd at least be good enough I could silicone them and use them until I could get a nicer set of lights installed on my new truck, but they were a waste of time and money

Worked for 6 weeks. If you need sturdy, dependable lighting this is not it. The lights are easy to install although they are not very bright. I put silicone around all the connectors and along the seams where the lights are joined together and the controller was in a dry location. After 6 weeks of being installed, and very little use, one side was drawing just enough power to make the lights shine all the time. If I turned them on then they function as they were supposed to however, when turned off one side did not go all the way off.I knew based on the price this was a gamble but I liked the idea that they used a remote which made the installation a snap. It's a great idea just to bad they are not built to be anything other than a decoration.

I like the lights and pattern that u can choose from, but they are very touching, u have to have the box that has the wiring harness on just set in the right place for the remote control to work, so I got mine working but then when I drive around the box gets giggle around and then I can get the remote control to turn on the lights, my advice is to not get the last light's that use a remote control, get on that is hard wire to a switch. But the lights are very nice when they work....
