Type of pole needed? My present head clamped onto my fiberglass pole, will this one also clamp on to the pole?

K. Drake - for optimal performance, you will want to use any of the Jameson Fiberglass Base or Extension Poles to use with any Jameson Fiberglass Pole attachment; especially, the JA-34DP-PKG big Mouth Side Cut Double Pully Tree Pruner Kit. Jameson pole models can be used together in a variety of combinations - all have the same ferrules. For highest performance and safety, Jameson recommends using a base pole when using one pole or starting with a base pole when working with multiple poles. Here is a "Poles Overview" brochure to better illustrate the versatility of the Jameson Fiberglass Poles - https://s3.amazonaws.com/jamesonllc/assets/pdfs/Brochure_Poles-Overview.pdf

Can this be used with the green ls series jameson poles? the pictures show the yellow ones

Yes it can be used with the Green (LS), Yellow (FG/FGA), or Blue (BL) Jameson poles. As long as that pole has a female ferrule (one with a spring clip)

the rope is long enough to use with 2 poles & have some left over. not sure about 3 cause I don't hav a 3rd pole, but you could always lengthen it. the pruner itself is great & a professional tool. 100 times better then the ones at home depot or lowes.

Will this jameson pole adapter work with notch poles? i already have the notch 40207 saw set but need a pruner.

The Jameson Fiberglass Pole Adapter has been specifically manufactured to work with Jameson Fiberglass Poles. It has a unique female/ male ferrule connection for secure attachment. We cannot guarantee the fit of other manufacturer products with the Jameson brand. Thank you for asking; we invite you to use our full line of Jameson items.
