This webcam cover provides an easy and attractive way to cover your webcam on your laptop. I use it for my my work and home Macbook Pros. I wanted to also test this out for the front camera on my iPhone, but I'm not convinced that it would stay on for very long. It is adhesive and sticks very well to my laptop, but I'm also not constantly putting my laptop in my back pocket like I am my phone. Should be able to move the cover back and forth even without fingernails!Doesn't cause any haloing with the video, just make sure to put it on centered!

This was great for a week, however the magnetic circle inside that slides back and forth to cover the camera fell out several times. After a week, it fell out for the 20th time (at least it felt that way) and I lost it! So I had to take the whole thing off. I was so bummed. Although, I think this happens quite often with magnetic sliding webcam covers.In my opinion, this one is the most aesthetically pleasing one out there, but not the best quality. It was worth a shot, but definitely fell short. I wanted to love it, but didn’t have enough time with it in one piece to find out for myself.

The sliding magnet part got lost in less than a week. It kept sticking to other magnetic items and surfaces until eventually it was lost for good I love the idea of it but maybe it should have groves to hold the magnet in place. I really want to like it but it didn't last long at all and its a bit pricey.

I have two of these webcam covers that I applied to two laptops, but after a few weeks on my phone, it fell off. The idea of a sliding "window" is great, but I think it's too thick and jets out from the phone, which gets caught on my jeans, or my coat pocket.

This handy little device does everything I need it to do.I'm using it on a MBP laptop and have looked for something that will offer me the ability to switch back and forth. Thinking about adding it onto my front camera as well.It causes *no* problems when closing. The back has sticky stuff on it. You place it where you want it, and presto! I even had to move it around a bit to get it sitting perfectly, and that caused no loss of stickyness. In addition, my MacBook Pro closes perfectly-and that is with a silicone keyboard protector already on.I've been using it for a few days now & I find it extremely easy to slide over and back.I could hypothetically see this being an issue for men or women who have big hands and/or are rough with their gadgets, as it doesn't require much force at all.Time will now tell if it lasts as long as I hope that it does.

To cover camera, the cover must adhere to screen protector. If you are very careful, it will stay in place, though you will likely have to readjust it because it will move without falling off. I frequently have to reposition mine on my phone to keep it over the camera. The one I use on my iPad doesn't move as much because it's not handled as much and is protected by the folding cover. I will say that despite sliding around, falling off once or twice when phone was dropped, and being reused on a new screen protector, I haven't lost the one on my phone, yet.

I bought the silver one for my work laptop. It is small, sleek and effective. It looks like it is chrome. slides easily back and forth. Installation was very easy and it looks like it is part of my laptop. This is way better than tape or a post-it note and a whole lot more professional. I'm thinking of buying several for my staff.

The design is good, but the glue is sub par. I could tell right away as I could easily pick it off and move it around...After 10 days the cover is lost. $8.99 is a very expensive price to pay for a 10 day product. And I have a phone case with a flip cover so the front is always protected with minimal friction to the webcam cover. If you carry your phone in pant pocket or a purse, this cover will be gone within 24 hours. The glue needs to be much stronger or even permanent.
