I've used this product in lockdown after not being able to go get my wax done for my legs. I have extremely thick black hair and this was able to grip them extremely well. I also suffered with alot of ingrowns so waxing normally is quite challenging due to the texture of my skin.This product is easy to use especially for people who have not self waxed before. Mostly as it is not hot wax and you don't run the chance of burning your self. If the gel is a bit stiff I recommend 10 secs in the microwave. Definitely no more!!Another point to make is that because it is a gel you can spread it out quite alot and it covers a good amount of skin. (considering my hair was fully grown... I was able to wax 2 half legs and 2 half arms.)The sheets provided with the pack worked really well but as I had a lot of hair to remove I also used some pre baught wax strips and they worked well. If you need more strips rip an old t shirt.Lastly the after care of this product particularly amazed me. I showered and not gel was led over on my legs. Something I have struggled with a lot. The gel can become sticky as you go on and it can become a messy process... I recommend you sit in an area you don't mind getting gel over, especially if it's your first time.Overall I highly recommended this product! Hope this helps!!!! UPDATE !!I firstly used this product over a year ago and I thought it would be good to give an update. I am glad to say that I have gotten this again a few times and the quality has been just the same.I have now switched to getting some fabric wax strips also from amazon as the strip provides are no way near enough for me! Although they are of very good quality.I wanted to also give guidance on the length to warm it up. In colder weather, I use 5 sec intervals to warm it up. You are looking for the spatula to move around with a bit of resistance in the pot. I would say max of 15 sec with gaps.The pain level is pretty low in my opinion as it is a gel so it feels quite soothing when applied, does not pull on hair as spreading.Best thing of all about this is how easily the wax dissolves under water so u can clean of any access. Simple!!Hope this helps!!

Pros:*one of the least painful waxes I have ever tried* gentle even on my sensitive skin* brilliant value for money* washes off easily - brilliant for the annoying bits of wax left on skin, and also of you bottle pulling the strip off (not yet bottled it as seriously not as painful as having it done at salon)* game changer will save money as won’t be going back to salon* the cotton strips are amazing, thick, don’t stretch and are washableCons:*silver foil is hard to remove completely so can’t heat in microwave*Gel sat on hot window sill for two hours and still not overly pliable* only five strips provided. Yes they are washable but unless You’re a pro, need more than five to do one full leg - this is the worst con for me esp as don’t appear to be able yo buy these particular strips separately and when I prepare to wax, I want to get it over and done with in one go and not wait for the washed strips to dry. And this is the only reason I have given four and not five stars.Overall though a good buy and have bought more. In time I’ll have enough strips with the multiple purchases.

I've used this a few times now, as a relative beginner to home waxing as it was apparently supposed to be better for sensitive skin. It's okay to use but not as easy as I'd have liked. The formula can be quite sticky getting it onto the skin and needs a bit of patience for your body heat to warm it to a more usable consistency. I found it quite difficult to get the balance right in that you need to get enough out of the pot onto the skin to make it a worthwhile amount of coverage but don't want the layer to be too thick in places.Good things:- Exceptionally easy to wash off as the formula dissolves in hot water- Fabric strips are washable and reusable- No more painful than any other method of waxing- Convenient to use in terms of not having to wait for wax to heat/meltAverage- Not as easy to get good coverage on the skin (and subsequently achieve easy hair removal without missing any hairs)- Fabric strips fray quite easily and leave threads all over the place, including sticking to the wax- Pre-treatment cleansing wipes shred into pieces and there aren't many providedAll in all, I may still buy this again but I don't feel that it particularly stands out as an excellent product.

I bought this product years ago when the Australian woman that created it was selling it on the shopping channels. It works well. I used it on my legs once and the hair never grew back. I was quite pleased Amazon had it and the price was 1/3 of what I paid years ago. I bought it to tackle lady whiskers, I’m a bit older now and have sprouted unsightly facial hair. Obviously a very poor joke that you get a friggin beard when you age. But nonetheless, I was thrilled to find Nads again. It arrived quickly as do all Prime deliveries. So I prep my face. Now ready to use the product, I unscrewed the lid, imagining this may be the one any only time I have to do this if it works like it did on my legs. As I twist, I’m feeling stickiness. Odd! The reason revealed itself soon enough. The bloody thing had been previously opened by some random. And they shoved the crumpled up foil cover into the product before closing the lid. Eeeew. Nevermind, can’t be bothered messing about trying to return something cheap and nasty. In the bin. Raging to say the least. Oh well, guess it’s back to the tweezers. Such is life.

I’ve tried a few different waxing products and this is the only one I’ll definitely be buying again!Excellent all round -easy to use and fab results. I did the following which worked really well for me (I have dark, strong rooted leg hair)For 2 days prior to waxing I dry brushed my legs for a minute each leg. Before waxing I used one of the pre waxing sheets for both legs that was included in the box, waited for it to dry then lightly sprinkled my legs with cornflour (I read talc works too) I can recommend laying everything out ready and I put down a plastic mat as I didn’t want to risk getting any on the carpet as it’s very sticky! I also bought some extra waxing strips as I knew I’d need more than what was included. I placed the opened gel tub in a bowl of hot water just to loosen it a bit. The gel wax was easy to apply thinly and took off all the hair with minimal to none breakage. I’d recommend watching the Nads video clip above as it shows how to reuse some gel once it’s on the strip.Whilst it wasn’t completely painless it was a lot less painful than epilating or the pre waxed strips I’d used before. It’s very easy to wash off any residue. I used some Aloe Vera gel afterwards and am very pleased with the results! I did both legs and only used about 1/3 of the pot so excellent value for money too.
