Easy to use
Have little strength left in these old hands, so easy to use and well made, i lost my old one I’ve had for 15 years or so, couldn’t find one locally but easy enough on Amazon, got here quickly and just what I ordered, good price too

Works great, must have!
So I bought a new excalibur micro340 and it drives my bolts up to the fleching. I was having to turn my target around and push them back through. This little guy is a lifesaver. Screw it in a couple 3 or 4 turns and pulls them right out of the target, very nice , very nice!

Saved a few arrows
Went to a range to sight my crossbow in and the foam targets they had were pretty beat up so my bolts mostly disappeared in the target to the extent that I had to remove them from the back of the target. I tried other spots on the target and with that my bolts were totally in the target so that all I could see was very end of the bolt. I tried an arrow puller but it could not get enough purchase to pull it out. I remembered I had this puller with me and once it screwed in the arrow cam out easy as could be. I would imagine that it would work great where the target is the type where removal is not all that easy. It seems well built so unless you are really stuck solid like maybe if you were in a tree I do not see how you could ever damage this tool.

You need something to pull bolts out! (Maybe not this)
Update 19 SEP 2013 Still works well but since have bought one of the 3 inch rubber Allen arrow pullers work just as well, cheaper and faster than threading this in. This is useless if you upgrade to Lumenoks since they have no threads. This has sat in my X-Bow case this season and I don't really see using it unless I sink a bolt into a 20 inch thick target with just the tip sticking out I could thread it in the front and pull it out.Original review below.I did not have one of these when I first shot my X-bow. I could not pull it out by hand and would have damaged the bolts using something to clamp on. I made a homemade version using a bolt with the same threads and a block of wood but the bolt was too flimsy. I finally just bought this item and it works much better.

Just works
Must have for pulling arrows in roots or trees and sometimes targets
