Is this dishwasher safe?

I RETURNED THIS ITEM because I was looking for something that was LEAK-PROOF... And this IS NOT, It also has open slots which means your liquids will take on your refrigerator Smell & Taint with odors from other items. The information provided by the manufacturer doesn't say that it is dishwasher safe.

Does your water or beverage take on a refrigerator smell or taste?

I don’t use this pitcher in the fridge. It sits at the coffee bar ready to refill the reservoir.

Does it scratch easily from washing?

I handwash it, so far no scratches. It's hard plastic, I think it will crack if dropped on hard surfaces.

Is it acrylic or some other plastic?

I think it's acrylic as the pitcher is heavy without any liquid inside. It is very well made. I like it a lot.
