Best combo for MTHFR (has P-5-P)
I am compound heterozygous (MTHFR ). Which is normally not a huge deal, but I also have a history of stroke and autoimmune activity as well as activated Epstein-Barr virus. It becomes a little more important to get the right B complex. If you are experiencing non-stop fatigue and cannot figure out why definitely ask your doctor about Epstein-Barr virus and getting tested along with having a test for MTHFR. I exhausted the other options and finally may have my answer. It seems that Covid may have reactivated my Epstein-Barr virus, which should remain dormant after having mono when I was a teenager 30 years ago.I was going to go with a different company until I realized that they had a different form of B6 then was ideal for someone with MTHFR.This brand has the form I wanted. Here is why:Confirm B6 FormIf the label just says “Pyridoxine” or “Vitamin B6” without specifying P-5-P, then it’s likely the inactive form (pyridoxine HCl).• Some people with MTHFR (or impaired liver detox) don’t convert pyridoxine well.• Look for P-5-P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) — it’s gentler, active, and more effective for reducing homocysteine.Watch for Niacin Form & Dose• If it contains nicotinic acid, high doses can use up methyl groups and cause “niacin flush”• If it’s niacinamide or in small amounts, it’s usually fine• You don’t have to avoid it — just good to be aware, especially if you ever feel flushed or tired after taking it👀 this brand has the no flush niacin😁If you are positive for MTHFR be sure to research these things. I was pleased to find that this is a good choice.I have just started taking it for a couple of weeks. It is yellow of course I do not chew it so I do not know what the taste is, but it is fairly quick and I just take two at a time. It does say you can take them at two separate times. Quick and easy great choices.Using the proper forms of B vitamins—especially 5-MTHF (methylfolate)—is essential for people with MTHFR mutations because their bodies can’t efficiently convert synthetic folic acid into the active form needed for methylation. Taking methylated forms (like 5-MTHF and methylcobalamin) bypasses the genetic bottleneck, allowing the body to process nutrients, detoxify properly, and regulate homocysteine levels more effectively.📝I will update in a couple of months to see what results I get.

Finally, B Vitamins That Actually Work – Life-Changing for MTHFR Mutation
After years of taking regular B vitamin supplements with little to no effect, I finally discovered—through genetic testing with my doctor—that I have a gene mutation (MTHFR) that affects my body’s ability to absorb and convert standard B vitamins. That explained the constant fatigue, brain fog, and low mood despite supplementing consistently. These methylated B vitamins have been a game-changer. Because they're already in their active, bioavailable form (like methylcobalamin and methylfolate), my body can actually absorb and use them properly. Since switching to this formula, I’ve experienced a noticeable boost in energy, better mental clarity, and a more stable, uplifted mood.If you’ve been taking regular B vitamins without results and suspect absorption issues or have been diagnosed with an MTHFR mutation, I highly recommend giving these a try. They've made a real difference in my daily quality of life.

It’s perfect for anyone with an MTHFR mutation
I’ve tried my fair share of B-complex vitamins, but this Super B-Complex by Igennus blew me away. What really makes it stand out is the sustained release technology. Instead of getting a quick energy boost that fizzles out, it gives you a steady stream of nutrients all day long. Pair that with the twice-daily dosing, and you’re covered from morning to night. What I’ve Noticed:Since starting this, I’ve felt more energized, less stressed, and even sharper mentally. My mornings are more productive, and I stay focused throughout the day without feeling drained. It’s also helped balance my mood and even made a difference in how my body handles stress. Why I Love It:The ingredients are clean and pure, which is why I choose this specific product!.It’s perfect for anyone with an MTHFR mutation, like me, because it’s all in forms your body can actually use. It’s small and easy to take, so it fits right into my routine.Quick Tip:For the best results, take one with breakfast and another with lunch. The steady release will keep your energy and focus going strong all day!Honestly, this B-complex is a life-saver for anyone who wants more energy, better focus, and overall health support. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Dramatic quality of life improvement! MTHFR gene and antacids caused B12 deficiency
Try methylated b complex, please! In 2 months I have noticed improvements in many areas. My energy and motivation! My mood, I'm less irritable & anxious. I have less neuropothy in my hands and feet. My skin is softer and glowy. My memory is sharper. I have also changed to eating only whole foods. I walk for exercise now and take methylated b complex. I feel great! Antacids, aging, other medications and mthfr can block how we absorb our b vitamins and a deficiency can occur. B vitamins are water soulable and the body will excrete excess through the urine. B12 is stored in the liver to prevent a deficiency. Stores of b 12 can become depleted through infection, child birth, surgery etc. if you are not eating whole foods and supplementing with methylated b12. I noticed improvements the first day I started taking these! Good luck, I hope you see improvements to your health and quality of life. Take care!
