MediPedsWomen's Peds Diabetic Over The Calf Socks with Compression Fit 2 Pairs

These are black, fairly thin (okay for summer & winter), very comfortable, and offer some compression. I have bought a second set. So far they seem as durable as other socks, but I've not had them for more than a couple of months. They do seem to work fairly well in compression--no ankle swelling.

For me, these are great socks! This is my second purchase of these socks and they are VERY comfortable. There is a bit of extra room in the toes and that's one of the things I love about these socks. Over the last few years while wearing regular socks I noticed that the nail on my big toe on both feet would become black and blue and separate from the nail bed. My shoes would be the right size and my socks also, tried different shoes and socks but still had the same issue. Then I found these beauties! They are super stretchy and have a bit of extra room in the toes, which makes my toes VERY happy. I am on my feet for 9 hours at work every day and my feet and legs are not fatigued or sore with these socks and the mild compression is perfect for me. The material feels very nice and as for thickness they are kind of in the middle-not too thin but not too thick either. Another poster mentioned that the name was not stamped in the foot of the socks but both of my purchases have had the name "mediped" stamped into the foot bottom of the socks. Everyone has different needs but based on my experience I highly recommendthese socks.

These socks are amazing. I’ve bought countless ones and they’re either too hard to pull up or too long since I’m short. These fit just right. It’s not hard to pull them up and I travel for work and they really help for the swelling. At the most my toes and feet are slightly swollen after a long day of travel but my legs are just fine.

Arrived as promised, appropriately packaged. This was my second purchase...first purchase was to check for fit as two previous, different brands were horrible fits--one pair took me 30 min to put on--yes, I'm THAT dumb about a new purchase. SO I purchased 3 different brands. My problem is I have short, heavy calves, and fairly small feet and ankles. Swelling after heart surgery was uncomfortable, to say the least. These socks are very comfortable, a good fit, even if I'm a bit swollen. They are the easiest of the three brands to put on, and the only ones I've kept. I know they aren't snag- or run-proof, but I've not had a problem yet. These are like a pair of tights--maybe a bit heavier. They stay up all day...Well, I'm retired, they stay up MY "all day". Sturdy, good fit, fair price...I wish they came in lots of colors--if I HAVE to wear the darn things, I prefer lots of colors...pastels, brights, neons...I'm retired, not tasteless...or boring....Give me a choice, please!

Love these. Fit great, are very comfortable and great price. Will order more when needed.

The Dr requested them! They are comfortable, but band under knee stretches quickly. May be my imagination! Have no idea how long they should last before stretches ! I would love an estimation!

The socks went on easily and are staying up without binding.

I've been buying Medi-peds for years. I've moved on.The last few orders:- Smaller than stated on the packaging (never had that issue before)- Don't last as long --have holes in the toes within 6-8 months of usePros: Compression works perfectI found a new source and am happy with how they fit and we'll see if they last longer. I'm just tired of the material on Medi peds giving out on my toes in such a short time, as well as them not reaching my knees any more and having to stretch them to get them up over my calf (no, my calves have not grown larger--yes I saw that question for in your mind as I typed that LMBO!).

They do well at controlling swelling in my feet and ankles. Don't dig in at the top. They are quite snug to put on the first time, they loosen up a bit after the first wash. I like that they are black so they just look like socks, not medical devices.

Si son las medias para personas con varices avanzadas, son de compresión media. Pero en el anuncio dice que para mujer son talla 13, eso equivale a las "grandes" o "L", y no es cierto, te mandan las medianas que son más cortas.Yo no las regresé porque mi mamá ya está chaparrita por ser una persona mayor, y sí le quedaron las medianas.

I absolutely love these socks! They aren’t too difficult to put on or take off like a lot of the compression socks I have tried!They are super comfortable and give just the right amount of compression.Can actually move my toes in these ones! Also do not dig in at the top! Definitely going to order more! My only criticism is that it would be nice to be able to have more colours to choose from!

I bought these for my mother who is diabetic, they are hard to find and quite expensive in Montreal. They are a little bit short, but she really likes them. They will remain on file for future orders.
