I love this mandolin! It’s sturdy and efficient so I can get my slicing and grating done fast! If you do it right away, cleaning the parts isn’t too bad, rinse them and put them on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Works great. A lot of attachments. Didn't work so well with sweet potatoes but everything else cut easily. Very sharp so be careful. I cut myself cleaning off one of the attachments. I also wish the top mount clicked into place a little better so every time I pulled it up it wouldn't come off the base.

Pretty good at cutting but the pieces have to be chopped to push through the grate. The mandolin part is great.

I was able to cut peppers and cucumbers with ease. Howerver, onions were difficult and when I tried to cut a sweet potato, it broke the first time. Before using it in the chop n slice, I cut the potato into less than 1" slices. I am so disappointed. All in all, it seems it's just good for things that are soft. And sometimes not so easy as in tv.

I just received it and the first time I used it. One of the blades broke. Tried to find out how to return it and the web site is not very friendly. If I order something and it breaks it would be nice to return it. I am not happy with this product as of now. or the Amazon site.

I have a dish, that I make about once every couple of months, that requires a lot (hours) of vegetable chopping / slicing. With this I am able to finish in a fraction of the time. Easy clean up. Throw it into the dishwasher. There are some things to be aware of. You have to pre-cut large items such as onions since they will not fit the cutting surface. Also be cognizant of the cutting direction or instead of cubes you will get long strands. Soft items do not fully cut. While you can use this for tomatoes, I don't think you will be happy with the result.

I bought this because my hands are loosing their strength, it's difficult to hold a knife for long. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to chop things, you may have to pre-chop to get the desired size and sometimes I find myself putting all my weight on the chopper just to chop an onion. It is also very difficult to clean, especially onions.

I am using it today and it seems to work great. Good investment to use in my home canning. Will cut down on lots of time slicing and chopping.
