Osprey Daylite Unisex Backpack

I bought this to replace an excellent Berghaus backpack that at 15L was no longer big enough. I had tried a few other 20L packs (including a really good one from Mountain Warehouse) but thought that I would give this one a try. I am pleased I did as its an outstanding daily backpack. Its so well proportioned and really comfortable to wear. The design of the compartments is ideal for how I use it - my folding waterproofs, hat and power bank fit in the large compartment and my diary, notebooks, meds and keys etc go in the smaller one. This all leaves approximately 10L over in the large compartment to carry anything else I need to. Construction is robust and the zips seem tough. The mesh back and wide straps make it super comfortable to wear - I dont need the chest or waist straps bit they are easy to remove and store in the front pocket. I have fitted anti-theft clips to the zips and this along with the general design of the bag makes it a secure pack. Finally, I would say that it looks great - no garish branding - its nicely understated and low profile whilst exuding am air or real quality. I would buy another without hesitation.

Great quality backpack, suitable for day trips or longer hikes. Good space for waterproof, packed lunch and other bits and pieces. Loved the unusual colourway. Quite lightweight. Looking forward to getting more use out of it.

I have used for about six months often carrying my camera gear and laptop with a total weight about 6Kg. Very strong lifting strap and good shoulder straps. well thought out with pockets inside and good main compartment. Goes on easyjet without any issues. Overall a fantastic backpack well worth the money

I have used this backpack on a number of occasions now from day-hikes to carry on luggage. As an Osprey product i have found it to be of good quality - the zippers run smoothly and there's no signs of wear even after a lot of use. It isn't the largest day pack on the market but I have found it to be suitable to hold a jacket, water bottle and a few other small items. The zip compartments are useful for items such as wallet and phone. There is also a clip inside which I usually use for my keys. The straps are fairly wide and I have found it to be a comfortable fit. The only real negative with this backpack is the elasticated pouch on the front. it is designed to hold a rain jacket or similar which is a great idea, however the clips attach above the main bag compartment, essentially covering the zippers so it can be a bit fiddly to get in and out of the main pocket. This is a minor inconvenience and overall I am still very happy with this purchase.

This is an excellent backpack! It's genuinely the best one I've bought. Very comfortable to carry. The vented back and straps keep you from getting hot and sweaty. Perfect for a day trip, as well as a light over night stay or carry on for a flight. The side pockets are very large making them perfect for drinks bottles or a small umbrella. The waist band/straps can be removed so you don't have them hanging down the back of your legs. There is even an emergency whistle built into the chest strap! It can fit a good amount of stuff in the main section and the small pocket has plenty of space with separators for phones, wallets, keys and all the other junk you might otherwise have in your trouser pockets. I highly recommend this to anyone after a top quality backpack of this size.

Perfect sizing for a work commute or a day hike. Ospreys typical quality and a fair price. The only negative is ospreys classic excessive of flappy straps. This however can be sorted with a couple of elastic bands. Highly recommended quality product.

Great backpack. The perfect size for travelling and doesn’t hurt your back. I can fit enough in here to last me a few days. The laptop sleeve inside is great as well. Very comfortable and makes it feel less heavy from the spine in it that is smooth against the back.

Great 20 ltr day sack. It is ideal for travelling, especially taking a bag onto a flight, for what I carry on with. And of course it’s “Osprey” which is a fantastic outdoor pursuit name. Worth every penny.

What can I say? It's an Osprey! You can't buy a better pack.

It meets my requirements, it's held up well for the year that I've had the backpack so far, using it frequently in that time. It's reasonably comfortable even when packed rather heavily. My only gripe with it, is that I wish that it was a little bit bigger, but that's more my personal issue rather than an issue with the backpack itself. I fully recommend it, if you want a small, daily-use backpack.

Wspaniały plecak. Bardzo wygodny i pakowny. Idealnie sprawdził się jako podręczny w Ryanair w dwu dniowej podróży do Bergamo - i to kobiecie :). Plecak jest super. To nasz drugi z tego modelu. Z drugiego korzysta moja żona.

الشنطة وصلتني والصراحة انبهرت من الخامة والجودة لأني كثير السفر ويهمني متانة القماش والخياطة والمميزات المتوفرة فيها. الشنطة جدا ممتازة للمشاوير اليومية نادي، عمل، مقاضي بسيطة، هايكينق يوم واحد. الشنطة عليها تقييمات كثيرة في اليوتيوب .. بس المهم والمهم انه لمن كنت جالس أتفقد الشنطة للأسف وصلتني مقطوعة من الأمام بسبب التفتيش والفحص من شركة الشحن أرامكس في الجمارك .. مع انه البائع امازون السعودية .. بس المنتج جا من الإمارات .. الصراحة أمازون ما قصروا خدموني على أكمل وجه .. بس حبيت اذكر هذه التجربة لانه نادرا تحصل وخصوصاً اذا البائع أمازون .. للمعلومية طالب الشنطة مرة ثانية لانه الصراحة عاجبتني وقريت عنها كثير

Para haber sido ENVIO INTERNACIONAL, llegó pronto. 1 semana antes de la fecha indicada, y mis impresiones de esta mochila fueron mayores de las que tenia idea: 1.- MUY BIEN EMPAQUETADA, EN CAJA DE CARTON Y BOLSA PLASTICA TOTALMENTE CERRADA. 2.- Viene de EUA, por lo que tanto la etiqueta como su descripción en la publicación, coinciden. 3.- Los materiales son tal cual los que utiliza OSPREY (cuento con una Bag de viaje para articulos personales y bolsa protectora de lluvia, misma calidad en bordados y acabados de la tela). Un 10 a eso. 4.- Si la parte delantera emociona, la parte trasera lo es mas: cuenta con una malla para evitar acumulacion de calor y/o evaporacion, entendiendose que es tanto para uso de Trail como para viaje. Agradecer mucho que trae una pequeña salida para agua, en la parte superior, por lo cual es de igual manera recomendado al 100% colocar bolsa de hidratacion de 1.5 Lt. 5.- Como plus, que no me había fijado, la asa se puede adaptar a maleta tipo CARRY-ON para usar en conjunto con la maleta de equipaje de avión, ya que el maneral entra muy bien en este espacio, y de este modo se convierte en un complemento modular del equipaje de mano. Sin duda, una excelente opcion para carga que pensó la marca al respecto. De verdad, todo un 100 a quien le GUSTA MUCHO VIAJAR y EQUIPARSE CON ESTILO!
