A good roller and does the job
It does the job, paint goes on evenly, there is a slight texture to the paint finish, but no more or less than other rollers I have used. It fits a standard roller cage and is held firmly in place. At low rolling speeds there is very little splatter, but if you are going to go flat out, then expect some fling. Cleaning is no different to any other roller I have used. Normally I keep the roller in a plastic bag overnight and continue the next day and until finished. I usually bin them after a job as they are never the same afterwards and it costs a lot of water to get them paint free. I did wash this one afterwards as it was only used for sprucing up a hallway wall, so it wasn’t as sodden with paint.A good roller, but nothing that says buy this over any other.

Ok 9" rolling sleeve refill but does loose some fluff.
9" rolling sleeve refill is ok for the price but found when I removed the roller from the packaging some bits of fluff came off the roller, so I would advice to rub it a bit to get any lose bits of fluff off before you use them.

Smooth Finish
Review for WinHux® Roller Sleeve Refill 9" for Paint Rollers.Having started decorating the whole house from top to bottom, I needed a new set of rollers. This is a well made roller with a smooth finish ensuring a smooth even painting as well as fewer splashes. Overall easy to clean, gives a great smooth finish, well priced.

Not impressive
It’s just a form roller, and be aware that you have to have the right roller base to suit it. I have got it wrong, so I have chuck it into the bin.

Standard
Just a standard quality. Nothing to write home about or condemn. How long it lasts remains to be seen.

Medium pile roller for textured surfaces
This is a standard 9" roller refill that will fit the majority of roller handles. The pile is quite deep which means it can be used on most surfaces but is best suited to those with a slight texture. You can use it on smooth surfaces but you're more like to get an 'orange peel' effect that's only noticeable from close up but a better finish comes with a lower pile roller or a paint pad.I got this for external textured surfaces and it works well for that, although if you have a 'deeper' texture you might want a more specialised roller for masonry. Cleaning this roller is no easier/harder or more or less unpleasant than any other roller, it's just time consuming and deeper pile rollers of course take longer to dry out fully.

Good sleeve, if nothing special
This is an ordinary but effective sleeve. It fits my roller cage snugly, holds paint well and cleans up readily enough. I prefer the very slightly textured look achieved with a sheepskin sleeve, but they’re hard to track down, and this one does leave a pleasant enough finish. It tends to shed a very small amount of lint but that’s perhaps just on first use – I’ve only used it once, so far, so don’t know. It’s perhaps worth giving it a rinse and letting dry before first use. It isn’t the cheapest sleeve you can buy, at £3.80, but won’t break the bank and may well be worth a slight premium.
