I did not purchase the one with the "lower shelf", but wish I did -- unfortuantely, that wasn't an option listed at the time. I just have the standard coffee table ontop of the black metal frame. Overall the table looks very stylish and nice and is very easy to put together. I put this together myself in only about 15 min. It's very light-weight and easy to move. The quality isn't the highest, but you get what you pay for, and it's ok for the current purpose. The top is like a faux light-weight wooden material with a cover that's marble-like. It feels plastic-y and I could see it probably getting easily damaged by water/heat/external forces, so maybe you should invest in some nice coasters or a glass topper (but that might cost more than the table itself). I compare it to my $9 ikea coffee table that I got years ago.

There were a couple areas where the marble covering was hit and messed up, thankfully they were on the underside and not visible once put together. Putting this together was surprisingly very difficult. Some of the soldering and screw holes had corners/edges that made it difficult to get the screws in, especially one of the supporting bars that had a bit of soldered metal in the way. It was hard to get things lined up correctly, took two of us to force the shape so the holes would line up. In the end I think this made everything very tight so I'm not worried about it coming apart.

I loooove this table! Got the whole matching coffee table, side table, and console table set. I do not recommend the console table however. The nails provided for assembly were all the same size and went straight through the thin console table surface. The side table and coffee table however are PERFECT!

The product was not Two Tier, though still a good small sized somewhat expensive LOOKING table. It is sturdy, thought very light, but well made and in good shape. Do make sure to check up on measurements so you know how it’ll fit where you want it it. Would be great for a studio apartment, smaller room, bedroom, etc.

Very cute table. Mine came with minor scuffs on the corner, but nothing too noticeable. For the price, I'd say you can't beat it. The dimensions didn't fit my apartment how I had wanted it to, so I ended up selling it, but it's cute and I enjoyed it while I had it! I say go for it.
