Bright and the right price... but cause terrible RF interferrence in 2007-2013 Silverado/Sierra trucks.
Installed these today in my 2008 Silverado. They put out a lot of light, more than a Halogen bulb... BUT it's not focused like traditional light bulbs. It's a flood pattern which isn't the best for a car as you want a larger amount of the light in front of you on the road, not off to the sides.Update : after running these a few days, I'm more impressed and think I'll leave them as is. These put out a lot of light, even in front of you.09/24/17 Update:These lights were installed on a used truck that had been purchased one week prior to these bulbs. I've had a huge issue with these lights... let me explain.I noticed the radio reception was terrible in the truck... so I naturally thought it may be antenna. Replaced, nope... then I looked at the radio, replaced as I thought the OEM radio just had terrible reception or perhaps had a faulty signal amp. Nope, still terrible reception. As it was winter time, these new LED headlights were almost always on... and I love them for the light they produce. But after a bit I noticed when leaving town one day that my radio reception was MUCH better, that was until my headlights automatically turned on. So, it was my headlights causing the issue. I did some prelim investigation if perhaps it was a ground issue. Nope, turns out a lot of LED bulbs on the market cause radio reception interference because their voltage regulators are un-shielded. So after much research and as a last ditch effort, I bought some ferrite beads, which most folks say wouldn't make a difference because the issue was RF interference and not voltage. So after purchasing a nice set of ferrite beads, problem still exists. Ended up buying another set of LED bulbs (different manufacturer and design) which cause no RF interference. With this known, I can no longer recommend these bulbs. My truck, I'd give these 1 star, BUT these bulbs may not cause the issue in other cars/trucks, so I'm going to lower to 3 stars. Great bulbs and light... crappy side effect of their usage.

Good bulbs but not always appropriate for all housings
The voltage regulator is bigger then expectedIt fits tightly in my 2003 ford expedition housing.Bulbs are brighter then stock but the actual led angle directly impacts beam spread, it's not smooth.Heat sink seems like it's a reasonable temp after warming up. Even in the sealed housing.I have ordered projector style housing to attempt to improve the light spread.------Update:Ordered projector housing, with these LED bulbs, the light spread becomes a soft flood light. I would almost call this three star. I am returning because I can't get a combination of bulb and housing that was satisfying. I don't completely blame the bulb. Although if the actual LED was not so far forward, I think it would be much much better. As you can see the light spread is inconsistent. Ironically the packaging directly speaks to this problem and shows how these bulbs have a great beam spread. On a plus note, color and function was perfect.

Better than Halogens, but no HID replacement
I was hoping that I could run LED in my headlights, but I wasn't satisfied with the light output, it could have just been too much blue hue in the 6000k bulbs I have, maybe next time I should get 5000k instead for pure white. in any case, I went back to HID, and there is a noticeable difference in output with the same color temperature. I have read somewhere that LED bulb perform better on non-projector lenses, but I have projector lenses, and they're just not on par with HID bulbs, though I would say thses just a bit brighter than Halogens. I will keep these as backups for when I burn out an HID bulb or ballast. These are decent, they'd make good replacements for Halogens in non-projector applications... but, that's my opinion. Maybe the next generation will be brighter.

Wow! A nice surprise that is functional!
I bought these and upgraded my factory headlights with the LED. Installation was a snap - very easy and took 10 minutes on one side (I took my time to make sure I was doing it right). After I installed the first side, the second bulb took half the time. The bulb looked and felt high quality. Most importantly, once they were installed, I did a test and noticed a substantial difference in lighting. These bulbs are bright and has a nice pure white color. Love them! In terms of them being reliable and durable... time will tell. So far, I am extremely satisfied and happy. They are functional (light up the road) and look great!

Had a little trouble getting one of the converter or ...
Had a little trouble getting one of the converter or what ever you call it to connect to the bulb. It would connect but it wouldn't turn the bulb on after talking with Amazon about a return, a friend of mine came over and played with it twisted it cleaned the prongs pushed really hard to have a tight fit and the bulb turned on and no issues since.

first set one was bad, but they took care of it fast
first set one was bad, but they took care of it fast... very bright, fits great,, only low or hi beam not both, the replacement set is doing great. if not for defect this would be 4 stars, not 5 due to either hi or low beam not both

Poor Quality, You Get What You Pay For
Package arrived two days later than first expected, opened the box only to find all the components just thrown in the box. The heat sink copper blades were bent and damaged, and the connector did not fit the 9005 power supply. (Nothing a little electrical work cant fix), but defeats the purpose of a "plug and play" kit. The plastic casing in which the LEDs are fixed in were not properly seated and I had to re case them. They fit very loose in the light housing regardless of adjustment.

Nice and bright but they didn't last that long
A pain in the butt to install. Had to take my whole grille assembly and head lights out to fit. Nice and bright but they didn't last that long. 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500
