Not durable - plan on replacing them every 6-12 months
I've been using mine for nearly 6 months, and so far I haven't had any of the issues other reviewers have mentioned.I'm the only one who uses my chair, I'm 190 lbs., and it's used on flat vinyl laminate flooring - no bumps. The chair rolls easily - sometimes too easily (as others have said). No bearings have fallen out yet and they don't squeak or wobble.BUT, the gap where the bearing reside is getting larger and I doubt these wheels will make it through 2018 intact. The bearings look dry, like they need grease.I won't pay $20 annually for new wheels! They seem to be made well enough to get past Amazon's return period, but not made to last a year or more.

You CAN Have A Smoother Rolling Chair.
Waited over 2 years to get larger diameter rubber wheels for my office chair. Received these today, removed the old ones (twin plastic furniture type wheels) and put these big ones in. WOW, if I only knew how much I was going to enjoy these SMOOOOOTH, EEEEEASY, rolling wheels I would have bought them sooner! The wheel post size was exactly the same and fit perfectly. I have not replaced wheels before so I don't know how many different kinds of wheel posts there are but, by far, most I've seen at home improvement stores is this 7/16" size, which is nearly the size of an adult pinky finger. I removed the old wheels using a large screw, (3/8") and hammer, just a couple good hits and the post started sliding out. Then with a little effort I pulled them all the way out. The new ones where a bit more difficult to insert. (A little oil would have helped, but I got too excited and just forged ahead) I used the same screw and hammer and after starting the post into the hole hit the base of the post (NOT THE WHEEL) and they went in. It took a few good hits for the post to fully seat but it only took me 15 minutes for all five wheels, old out, new in, and reassemble the trim that covers the metal legs. Even if you don't have the construction skills I do, get some of these wheels and get a friend to help you and you will be delighted. If you have an office chair on carpet these will make it roll so much easier. Now my chair roles effortlessly across our laminate floor! No more scratching, skidding, sticking! I am one very happy camper!! (No, I don't work for RevoSmooth, maybe I should. Then go around town creating happy campers!)

They Smell Weird at First, but it's Cool
I moved into a TINY second floor studio with, you guessed it, wood floors. "Crap", I thought. "Now I'll have to game on a lawn chair or something like some sort of filthy casual". NOT SO! I found out I could turn a cheap rolling office chair into a Razor scooter with these amazing poly casters! Who would have thought that something straight out of my childhood could be used to be a courteous neighbor? Be warned though...these things are like 99% efficient, meaning if your floor is out of level at all, you'll roll VERY easily. My floor is slightly off pitch backwards toward the middle of the room so that when I get off my chair, the whole thing slowly rolls back until it hits something.6/5 for working too well.

Awesome Wheels!!!
I was skeptical when I seen these wheels. I didn't know that there was a big difference in the wheels for an office chair. I always noticed that the normal style wheels seemed to collect a lot of dust and hair (I have dogs in the house). So I didn't really see a need to "upgrade" my office chair wheels, the current one's were just wearing out and I needed some replacements.Boy was I wrong! These wheels are a dream. They add height to your chair compared to the regular wheels but that's fine with me. They make your chair roll like a dream and I plan on getting a set of these for any office chair I own from now on! I was made a believer and I think that everyone should try a set of these wheels out.Great product!

Much better than I thought they would be
These things are insanely great! I originally purchased them for a PC rolling cart, but after realizing the poles were too big to attach to it, I quickly put them on my office/gaming chair and it made a great difference! The claims about not damaging hard wood floors are 100% correct and the feel of gliding versus dragging is a great addition to my home office/gaming room. It did make the chair firm and take a bit away from the hydraulics when leaning back, but it is much better for posture. They are also much more stylish than those cheap ugly plastic clip like wheels that come with most office chairs. Also, if you are like me and move your chair around from room to room in the house, these move across the humps between rooms with little effort and glide across the floor faster than you could imagine. I highly recommend giving these wheels a shot for your office or gaming chair.

You need these things. Really.
These wheels are flipping awesome. I have a thick pile carpet, and a chair mat just sinks down into it and makedxa pocket so that it's difficult to move at all. After installing these guys, I just ditched the mat altogether. I wouldn't say that my chair "glides smoothly" on the carpet, but it is certainly easy to move and doesn't big down.I came across these by accident - I didn't even know that I needed 'em, but now wish I'd discovered them years sooner. Great product, great solution!

Built well and easy to install. however ..
They are well built and installation was straight forward once the OEM casters had bee removed. My carpeted office has one chair and two desks. I am a big person and the casters on my chair were too small to roll easily on the carpet so I had a chair mat in front of my primary desk. The chair was cracked and needed to be replaced. Instead of replacing the mat, I switched to the larger casers that roll better on carpet and save about 1/2 of what I would have spent on a new chair mat (for that I would have been willing to give this set of five casters all 5 stars. However, I was also hoping to solve another problem, that of trying to roll back onto the mat when switching back to from my secondary to my primary desk. While the new larger casters do roll better on carpet for short distances, i.e., less than 1 foot, the typical amount my chair moves when I am sitting down to or getting up from my desk, they are less effective when moving from one desk or another (about 4 feet)..
