The media could not be loaded. Lovely sounding thing, and quite mesmerising to play. Doesn’t really take long to be able to knock out some sort of a tune but don’t expect to get an entire musical note range. It has a little booklet of tunes to play but again some songs don’t really match up to the actual song.All in all it feels good quality, a handy size and fun and easy to play. I felt it was good value for money, my only gripe was the numbers were just stickers and not embossed or engraved or even just painted on but a good press down made the stickers less obvious and more secure.Can you name the tune I play in the video?

The children love it. I find it pleasant when they use it. I love the sound myself. Small… but enough

I saw one of these in a shop window and deliberated whether or not to buy it, ending up walking away. After getting home I pretty quickly regretted this and got online to see how much they were, ending up seeing this, which was the same price I saw in that shop window.It comes boxed up and protected, with two rubber ended beaters, attachments for your fingers and a song book.As someone who'd never seen a drum like this before let alone played one I'm a complete beginner, so the numbering is confusing, and as I don't have anything to measure tone I don't know if the drum's notes are accurate, though for my rudimentary playing I'm quite satisfied and may push into this if I feel interested enough!The sound is very good, it rings out and has depth, so all in all I'd say it's very good value for money and good quality.

Makes a nice sound in the rain

I can't recommend this highly enough.It completely took over Christmas as we each progressed from Happy Birthday to You to more complicated tunes.Our 21 year old even started downloading sheet music to get more complicated.Even learning to play random notes to a "rain forest" kind of theme, and getting better at it, was great fun.Very calming sounds too - so not annoying to hear a lot of.

I spontaneously ordered the Slit Drums, Steel Tongue Drum, 6 inches 8 Tone D Key in moss blue for my daughter as a 17th birthday gift. I know she's going to love it! It's just been delivered and as my daughter is out today I thought I'd open the box and have a look (and play). Not only is it a beautiful piece, I'm already learning to play "happy birthday" from the little booklet that comes with it. Its very simple to use. I'm so excited about this gift that I'm going to buy myself one for my birthday.
