SPELLING WORKOUT HOMESCHOOL BUNDLE LEVEL B COPYRIGHT 2002

We are new to homeschooling and we bought these (sets B and C) based on the recommendation in "The Well Trained Mind." The pack comes with a teacher book and a student workbook. The teacher book is complete with activity ideas and a view of what the student pages look like. The student book is consumable and offers additional activities for the students. The students read a passage with the spelling words for the week and they have about 4 worksheets for each week that build their understanding of the new words. I have also added in some of my own activities to reenforce the lessons provided in the book. This set is exactly what we needed with being new to homeschooling. The curriculum is very structured but not dull. I would recommend this product.

This says it's a bundle item but there was no teacher guide to go with the workbook. Not happy at all! ~I am updating this: I messaged Amazon with the live chat feature and explained that this should of been a bundle pack. Not only did they email me the return label( How awesome....but wait for it) they resent me the complete bundle package. I was expecting level B which is 2nd grade amazon did it again (here it is) they sent me the complete bundle package of Lvl C which is 3rd grade. I couldn't be happier. Thank you amazon you made my day...again! BTW if your a homeschool momma/papa upgrade to prime it's worth it! I give amazon 5 stars for this!!!!!!~

I absolutely LOVE this spelling curriculum. It is meant for 1 lesson a week and the work for each lesson is divided to either do 3 or 5 days a week. We do it 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). I love that the teacher's book has the whole lesson on two side-by-side pages so you can see all the worksheets for that lesson in a glance. The games and puzzles used to reinforce the spelling words are great and my 7 year old (who does not like writing and spelling) loves them. I would recommend these books a million times over.

Each lesson has four pages a reading page, write the missing letters from the list word, a puzzle page, and a proofreading/writing a story page. One lesson per week, one page a day and the last day spelling test. I don't have the kids do it quite like that because I supplement with All About Spelling. I don't think this book explains certain spelling rules very well, so I supplement with All About Spelling because it focuses on the rules and why's, where as this spelling book mainly teaches by how often you write the word and see it. I use this book because the kids thinks the activities are fun and gives them a bit of practice using the spelling rules.

I homeschool my children and this was a great book.

The description of this item was worded as a bundle which included the student edition. However, upon receiving it, only the teacher’s edition was included! Do not waste your money with this company. They also charged more than all other options. I was fine with paying more because the student AND teacher’s edition was bundled together. What false advertisement!! With only 1 or 2 reviews stating my situation as truth, I placed the order based on the overwhelming positive reviews.Do not make the same mistake!

This is only the teacher 's guide. It doesn't include workbook. Title is misleading , it should have been labeled "teachers guide" instead of "WITH teacher's guide"
