After buying five rods through the big box stores and having them fall on my head, I got fed up. Last week a brand new rod, fell down, after I put a silk blouse on it to dry. I ordered this based on reviews. I just hung it up. Didn't put the shower curtain yet, but instead put about ten blouses, wet ones out of the washer on it and it hasn't budge. I knew right away that it was better because I could tell there was a spring inside it!!!! Do not hesitate . I am getting another one for the guest room as the same thing keeps happening in there....added bonus, it said, Made in the USA which was music to my ears!

I use them do lots of things I have one for shower curtain of course then I have another for sheets over it. Then I have two hanging up high in the shower to hang at clothes on that I don't like to put in the dryer or just don't to waste the money on power. I have them hanging curtains as well that way no holes in the walls they work great my curtains are pretty heavy since they are black out curtains yes I will buy again and will recommend that all my friends and family do the same

After buying two other tension rods, one of which I returned, one of which I just threw away,I read the reviews of this and took a chance. And it's terrific...went up easily and stayed up!!!And the fact that it's made in the US not China makes it extra nice.

This is a nice-looking shower curtain rod. It looks good holding up my shower curtain.But this shower curtain rod slowly slides down the wall until it reaches the lip of the bathtub paneling, and then stops ... about three or four inches lower than where I want it to be. It doesn't seen like the spring has the strength to hold it in place where I want it. My bathtub/shower is a boring 58" wide, well within the stated parameters for this item.

You can just push and pull it with zero tension. I have no idea why it would be doing that. It is like you can't tighten it. I can't figure out how to contact them as I have never had to do so before. Very sad because I have a dinner party coming up and I was hoping to hang my new curtains!

Did not work at all. Unit expanded okay but as soon as you put any pressure on the spring it totally collapses. Completely useless. Got a refund, not bothering to order again, because the quality doesn't look like another one would be any better. I guess I'm going to stink for a few more days.

No assembly required.Perfect color and fit my standard shower perfect.Piece of cake to install! and it’s sturdy!!!...stays put if you do it right.

Rod was easy to install and before purchasing this tension rod, I had purchased one of a different brand and I had not realized that it was not tension and it broke within a few months. This rod has been up for about a month and is doing great. I feel confident that it will last a long time.

We just tried to install the rod yesterday. The one end is dented and the there is no tension to install. Unless we just can’t figure it out, this product was delivered damaged and the quality poor.

The product came broken. The tension didn't hold. As I had to use on the day and wouldn't be able to return in time I had to fix it myself.
