8 Drive Throttle Controller

So I have been looking into throttle controllers for a while, and couldn't justify spending $200-300 on one. I was skeptical that they were worth anything at all. I came across this one for less than half the price of the name brands ones and was even more skeptical. I figured for the price, I might as well give it a try, and if it was junk I'd return it. Let me tell you, I am BLOWN away by how awesome this thing is! I installed it on my '13 Nissan Frontier 6 speed manual transmission truck. Install took about 5 minutes, it's a breeze once you figure out how to unplug the throttle cable from the pedal (slide the purple clip outwards, and the harness will then pull right out). I first took it for a spin in sports mode 3, and there was maybe a slight difference, but thought maybe it was in my head. I then went to sports mode 9, and that made it clear this thing was actually doing something. Then I switched to race mode 9, and holy crap! It woke this truck up in ways I didn't think was possible! I know this doesn't add power, but it sure tricks your brain into thinking it did. My truck takes off like a bat out of hell now, it's awesome! Makes it feel like a whole new truck. I came home from the test drive with a huge grin on my face! I will be keeping it, that's for sure. The little control unit is tiny, and comes with some 3M tape to mount it. The buttons are small, but once you figure out how to operate the unit, it works well and is easy to switch between modes. The instructions it comes with are a joke. They were clearly written by someone with no grasp of the english language, but that's to be expected on these kinds of bargain electronics. Overall I am giving this 5 stars, because it does what the other throttle controllers do for a fraction of the price, and it has made my truck a lot more fun to drive!

After building fast cars my whole life. I decided to get a family car...(a chevy cruze...insert groan) unfortunately for me that meant... not inherently quick. Looking through the market and not trying to ruin a fantastic warranty but wanting to get this thing off the line i stumbled upon throttle controllers and was pricing out some bigger name variants and researching them and one gentleman on youtube did a review on Xtros TRC and at a price 1/4 the asking price of big brand i figured if it was dog water i wasnt out alot of funds but to my surprise.. IT WORKS. For a car sluggish off the line and to get up speed i didnt expect much and was playing with the various types of programs (basic, sport and race) i tested em out and when i got to race and set it as high as it would go...yea that tiny little turbo had no idea on what the heck hit it. Dang thing did a burnout getting onto the interstate (no joke) and it carried boost all the way through putting me at 70mph (highway speed) in no time. Works very well and surprisingly again hasnt bothered my fuel economy nearly as much as i suspected it would if it worked. All around reccommend and just be mindful of how you set it up.

My husband hooked it up to his 2013 Dodge Dart 1.4 and was playing with the settings, when he got back home after a joy ride he came out with a grin on his face. Make sure you turn off traction control when in F2 sport mode and F3 race mode so it don't throw a check engine light, he drove it to work tonight on F1.9 comfort mode and he said he loves it and hopes it last for a long time. He said no more pedal lag and if you buy it you will have fun. Only giving it 4 stars just to see how long it holds up.

So I spent 3 hours riding around after the 10 minute install. It works well with my 2022 Renegade. I tried all the different settings and the race mode is a little too aggressive for me. I think I’ve settled on the F2.5 setting. It makes my bite size Jeep 1.3 Turbo a more enjoyable ride. It seems to add a lot of torque because the signal to my throttle has been increased by 50%. So far baring a failure of the product I’d definitely recommend this product. Update it stopped working altogether and throws error codes now. Fun while it lasted.

This works by multiplying the signal from the pedal to the engine, making your pedal more sensitive. This is great if you don't want to press the gas pedal all the way down to get the full response from your engine. For example, if set properly, pressing the gas halfway will be like flooring it. This will make automatic shifting easier by varying degrees depending on the F setting, or harder if using Eco. I do not recommend setting it to F3.9 (Race Mode Maxed) for your first test and backing out of your driveway. It took me completely by surprise! Start with F1.5 and you'll notice the difference without the potential of accidentally running over your mailbox. Gradually progress up from there. I was hoping that maybe this would help my 2013 Dart 2.0 Automatic be more responsive off the line with the auto-stick by topping out the signal from the pedal to the engine, but it does not. Not the products fault. No setting on this unlocks a higher signal or anything like that. I had to try. 😄 I do like setting F2.5 for around town strictly automatic driving, but I've had 99K miles to get used to the way my car shifts via the pedal. This product is not for me, but it does what it sets out to do very well for a fraction of the price of other throttle response controllers.

This thing seems cheap and worthless but let me say the increase of take of is awesome and if u switch properly if racing or speeding up fast it reduces snatching of trans but even setting it and using 1 mode is great I live in a beach area so always tourist in the way staring at cornfields and trees so getting around them now is a breeze and no strain on engine. Gas mileage is insane even on race/ SS mode - 9. Saving lots in gas. Oh yeah I can blast ac and have no drag or resistance in take off or acceleration

The only function work on the device is comfort and sport mode the eco mode amd racing mode not working at all. I reached out to seller and request for the replacement, they confirm first and then later said that oh we cannot shipped to Canada from US and surprise thing is that I already got this device from US not Canada. Please do not buy any products which are not fulfilled by Amazon as they give you a hard time later when you have problems.

The connections are not compatible. I cannot use it.

It's a good product but if the display unit back side tapecan provide 3m double gum tape then it should be better,bcoz currently use gum tape is not working properly.

Bought this item for my 2016 Chevy Cruze and I was really excited to try it out but I couldn’t even install it in the first place. There was plastic on the side of the connector for the accelerator which did not allow it to fit. Greatly disappointed.

i contact the compagnie before purchase to make sure it work on my car they said yes it fit no problem came to find out it does not contact the compagnie again they said i purchase from a different seller so they can do anything bad compagnie would not recommand
