I often try and stay away from fish oil supplements because I find the aftertaste, and fishy burps to be very displeasing. I'm pleased to report with this supplement, I didn't suffer from any of those circumstances at all. I found them very easy to swallow, and digest without having any discomfort to my stomach. I also like the quality of the ingredients that are included in this omega-3 fish oil supplement. It has a rather high content of EPA as opposed to most other competitors which tend to contain more DHA. I was beginning to feel a little bit of discomfort in my heart several months back, with a slight chest pain now and then. I decided to try and supplement some Omega threes and fish oils, in order to improve my heart health, as well as reinvigorate myself into resistance training once again. My resistance training resembles more of a circuit training, and so it has aerobic and anaerobic properties to it. That combined with the supplementation of the fish oil, I have found has alleviated my chest pains altogether. I can't necessarily make that correlation directly, but I can tell you from an anecdotal perspective that it went away when I started to supplement and train seriously. I think they are great many benefits to a supplement like this one, and though for an Omega 3 supplement it is a little bit pricey, I think it's worth it because of the quality of the ingredients, as well as the lack of fishy burps. For my purposes I was very pleased with my trial, and certainly would consider re-ordering. From my experience, I would recommend them.

I've been taking Dr Tobias Omega 3 fish oils for around 6-7 years, with consistent fish oil / omega 3 supplementation daily for over 10 years.These RUVED fish pills compare very well to the Dr Tobias', which are pretty well regarded. In comparison, for 2 pills (standard daily dosage): you get 1500mg EPA / 500mg DHA. The Dr Tobias ones are 800mg EPA / 600mg DHA. So these provide quite a bit more EPA, although not as much DHA.I did not get "fish burps" from these, which I frequently get with cheaper fish pills (I don't get them from the Dr Tobias ones).My only real issue with these are the price. At $33 for 60 pills (or 30 days worth), these are significantly more expensive than most omega 3 supplements. However, they are higher in EPA, so they make up some ground there. I really like this product but I don't feel like they are quite there in terms of value. I'll remove 1 star for the slightly high price.

This fish oil contains a good amount of EPA. A lot of the stuff I see contains a lot of DHA and little to no EPA. This is great to pair with something else to get a greater balance of the two. The only issue I’ve had with this is that I don’t like to swallow these large fish oil pills, so I bite them, consume the oil, and toss the capsule. The capsule itself does not have any sort of unpleasant flavor, but the oil does taste fishy. I imagine that if you consumed this by swallowing the capsule like a normal person, you would not have any issue with this. However, if you do what I do, you’re going to get a somewhat unpleasant flavor. It’s not so bad that I can’t handle it, but I’ve used other products with more pleasant-tasting oil.It's hard to know with supplements if they are actually doing anything. I guess, to some degree, you have to take it on faith unless you follow a strict diet and get blood work done regularly so that you can try to verify if a product like this is having the intended effect, but that’s never going to be me, so I have to hope that this provides a useful benefit.

I take fish oil every day, and have done for years, so when Amazon Vine offers fish oil, I usually and gladly accept. This jar contains two months' supply (if one takes 1,000 or 1,250 mg per day as I do), as there are 60 capsules and each one is 1,250 mg. with 750 mg of EPA and 250 mg of DHA fatty acids. That's a good mix, which is great for the heart and brain, and generally helps to keep one strong and healthy.This is pretty costly fish oil, but given that it is from wild Alaskan fish, the price might be reasonable.I like the oil and would consider buying it again.

This is a highly concentrated Omega-3 supplement (especially EPA). Actually, it has about triple the amount of EPA as DHA. Some people are looking to focus on one or the other so if EPA is your focus, this is a good place to go.The ingredients are quality. Admittedly, I don't get fish burps, even with low quality Omega 3 so I can't really tell you how that will go here.A sticking point for some will be the price. It's not cheap. There are plenty of higher quality Omega 3 supplements that aren't cheap. I've had cheap. It's not nearly as effective as getting the good stuff.
