Funktioniert nicht mit Ford Mustang Modellen ab Bj 2013 - xxxx. War nach langem ausprobieren direkt zum Ford Händler gefahren. Die konnten weder diesen Sender noch die Tpms Sensoren anlernen. Benutzt nur die mitgelieferten Sensoren von der original Maschine oder fahrt im Winter mit einem nervigen Symbol.

I did not receive this item for a day, so I noticed the TPMS light went out all by itself after going for a drive the day after changing back to the summer tires from winter tires. Tried the item anyway, since I assume that the car recognised the original tires but would not know they are now rotated. For our car, which has a pushbutton start, the method is as follows. Push and release the brake. Turn the car on with a two second push of the start button and turn off the car with a quick push twice.. Turn on the car a third time with a two second push. Push and release the brake. Turn the car off with a quick push. Turn the car on with a two second push of the start button and turn off the car with a quick push two more times. Turn on the car a sixth time with a two second push. The horn should honk to indicate train mode and the dash will tell you what tire to do (left front first). Hold this handy gadget against the wheel at the valve stem and push the button. The light on the tool will illuminate and a few seconds later the horn honks. Proceed following the order displayed on the dash until all four tires are done (right front, right rear, left rear). I think the car then turned itself off, but I could have been mistaken. Note this item works without needing to open the original packaging, so if it does not work it would be easy to return. This item came in an sealed Motocraft plastic bag. I tossed it in the back with the tire repair kit. I did this with the winter tires hanging right above the car, so it didn't seem to care much about other nearby sensors.

Worked perfectly on my 2016 Ford Focus ST winter wheels (with VDO aftermarket TPMS sensors). Since I didn't see this anywhere, instructions for PUSH BUTTON START vehicles are as follows: 1) Make sure ALL TIRES ARE INFLATED TO SPEC 2) Ensure vehicle is in OFF mode 3) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL 4) Press IGNITION BUTTON 5 times (on-off-on-off-on) ending in ON (within 10 sec) 5) PRESS AND RELEASE BRAKE PEDAL (again) 6) Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 7) Press the IGNITION BUTTON 5 times ending in ON (same process as step 4) (within 10 sec) 8) The HORN SOUND sound indicates vehicle has entered into TPMS RELEARN mode. 10) Place the top of the TPMS triggering tool very close the sidewall of the DRIVER’S SIDE FRONT tire in the location of the valve stem. PUSH TRIGGERING TOOL BUTTON, HOLDING IT until the horn sounds 11) Once the horn sounds, move on to the PASSENGER SIDE FRONT tire and repeat the process. Each tire should only take 30 seconds or less. 12) Once horn sounds continue on to the PASEENGER SIDE REAR tire and 13) Once horn sounds continue on to the DRIVER’S SIDE REAR tire. 14) You may now turn the ignition to OFF. · If the horn does not sound, the sensors were learned successfully. · If the horn sounds twice, then the process must be repeated because there was a malfunction. (the above was partially copied from another review with the items specific to push button start changed). For my vehicle/TPMS sensor combo it took around 3-5 seconds per wheel for the horn to beep indicating it had learned that sensor. For the price (and especially considering it is an OEM Ford service tool!) it worked wonderfully. 5 stars for price, ease of use, quality, and function. Also fairly small so I just keep it on the glovebox for the twice/year I switch tires.

It worked on a 2017 Mustang & a 2014 Focus

Works well on my 2011 Mustang. There are several of these offered for sale at half the price of this one - that appear to be identical. I chose this particular one because it was sold in Motorcraft packaging. (Trying to avoid a non-functional counterfeit). Although this is not the re-learn tool shown in Ford's 2011 Mustang Service manual, it did work perfectly. 315 MHz Two things: Although our Chevy TPMS sensors also operate on 315 MHz, they are encoded differently and this tool won't perform re-learn on Chevy sensors. Second, the procedure to put the car into re-learn status appears nowhere in the Mustang's Owners Manual - Thank you Ford. But there are many accurate explanations how to do this on YouTube. Would buy again.
