I have 16 baby trees in the ground. I run 18 inch lengths which is about 5 to 6 emitter holes. wrap this around a tree trunk to a Tee fitting, to 18" of 1/4" soft line, to the 1/2" main line. I run 5 to 6 trees per main line using a 25 psi regulator at the timer/faucet they all get even distribution. I set it to 2 hours every 5 days and I just survived my first summer with no loss of trees.

Connected this drip tube to a small fountain pump and plastic water reservoir tub to use as an indoor watering system while on vacation. Combined with a timer it worked really well to water plants over three week period. You’ll need to calibrate how much water you need and then determine how much water discharges through the drippers in your setup to then calculate how long to have the pump turn on and how often you need to water. If you had this setup within a flood table or similar container it could collect any excess water back into the reservoir similar to an Ebb and flow system.

I have been using drip irrigation for pretty much everything except watering the lawn for the last 10 years. This area, SW USA is very dry and water is a coveted resource. These systems really aide in cutting water usage costs down when combined with timers. This particular produce is very useful as it reduces the number of extra emitters you would normally need to buy for flower beds and garden rows. Very useful in my 1400 sqft garden... Great product and very easy to install.
