I tend to get ideas that i want to jot down late at night, but the idea of turning on the lights & waking up all the way stops me from doing so. The idea of a lighted pen seemed like a good compromise, but i was hesitant over spending $15-20 for a psbl novelty item. When i then saw the deal on these the price seemed just too good to be true, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these are and how well they work in low light conditions. I chose the ones with the red led and they are more than bright enough to easily see what I am writing so am glad I did as the white light would probably be too bright for my purposes. The pen itself is actually well made and writes easily (whether or not you choose to click on the light) so if you are hesitating like i was then do yourself a favor and grab these while you can. Im about to order more myself to place around the house and may have to hide miné from the family...

I got these to gift to my yoga teachers with a small notebook. they were teaching yin in a dark room, and i could hear them fumbling for a pen/paper. These are great, with a red light that won't interrupt the yoga students or blind the user. Great for taking notes or journalling in bed. Its a pen. With a light. What will you write with yours? Dream journalling? Waking thoughts? Midnight ruminations? Or just play? take it camping and journal the constellations. limited only by your imagination and ink/battery life. (so far no problems! and my yoga teachers all loved it)

Ordered in July. Used maybe twice. Then, tried to use pen 4 months later. Light no longer works. The light is the only reason why I purchased these pens.

I love the idea of these pens. But... the click is so loud that it wakes my wife up. the light is too bright. for some reason, it takes a couple of clicks for the light to turn on.
